xSkills Gilded
This is a fantastic mod by Makham that adds a beautiful and interactive interface for the xskills mod — which, in turn, introduces a full skill progression system to the game, allowing players to level up various aspects of their character.

– Fixed an issue where the mod menu displayed incorrectly in windowed or multi-monitor setups.

– Added support for closing the mod window with the ESC key.
– The skill window now opens by default with the G key to avoid conflicts with xskills.
– The key can be changed in the control settings.

– Added missing icons for player effects and skills.
– Added icon support for the HydrateOrDehydrate mod.
– Added icon support for the Wear And Tear mod.
🔧 Mod Commands
All commands require admin privileges.
Skills
/level <add|set|get|reset> <player> <skill> [level] — manages skill levels
/exp <add|set|get> <player> <skill> [experience] — manages skill experience
/tier <add|set|get> <player> <skill> <ability> <tier> — manages ability tiers
/skillset <save|load|delete|default> <SkillSetName> — saves, loads, or deletes a skill set
/skillbook <skill> <experience> [color] [knowledge] [quantity] — creates a skill book that grants experience
Effects
/effect clear [player] — clears all effects from a player
/effect add <player> <effect> <intensity> <duration> — adds an effect to a player
/effect remove <player> <effect> — removes an effect from a player
Unfortunately, the XSkills mod does not include the /add unlearn points command.
Therefore, you’ll need to use the following command to reset or change a skill level:
/tier set <player> <skill> <ability> <tier>
Tier values:
• 0 — completely unlearn the skill
• 1, 2, 3 — set the corresponding skill level

Abilities
- longlife — Increases your health by X% and additional X% for each level at the survival skill. Maxed out at X%.
- hugestomach — Increases your maximum saturation by X.
- wellrested — Increases your experience gain for every skill up to X% for X seconds depending on how rested you are after sleeping.
- nudist — Clothing is a burden. Increases your movement speed up to X%, your health up to X points, your temperature resistance up to X points and decreases your hunger rate up to X%. Every piece of cloth you wear reduces these effects and can lead into disadvantages.
- meatshield — Absorbs X% of the incoming damage. You lose X times the absorbed damage as saturation.
- diver — Reduces your oxygen consumption by X%.
- featherfall — Reduces your fall damage by X and additional by X%.
- allrounder — You can learn X additional specializations.
- photosynthesis — Increases your health generation in the sunlight up to X% but reduces the health generation in the dark up to X%.
- strongback — Adds an additional inventory with X slots to your character. You can switch the items between this inventory and your hotbar. [default: R]
- ontheroad — Increases your movement speed on paths by X%.
- scout — Increases your movement speed by X%.
- steeplechaser — Increases your step height by X%.
- healer — Healing items you use heal additional X% over X seconds.
- sprinter — Increases your movement speed by X% and your hungerrate by X%.
- abundanceadaptation — Increases your healing effectiveness by X% and your hungerrate by X%.
- soulboundbag — If you die you do not lose the items in your inventory of the Strong Back ability.
- luminiferous — You begin to glow in dark areas, creating a bright area around you with a light level of X.
- cateyes — Your eyes can adjust to dark areas increasing the brightness up to X times, but you may lose some colors. Be careful with bright light sources while your eyes are adapted.
- meteorologist — Every day you will get a forecast for the weather of the next X days.
- laststand — You have a chance to survive a hit that would kill you. The probability of surviving is equivalent to your remaining relative health multiplied by X%.
- greenthumb — Increases the yield of harvested crops by X% and additional X% for each level at the farming skill. Maxed out at X%.
- demetersbless — Increases the yield of gathered seeds by X% and additional X% for every level at the farming skill. Maxed out at X%.
- gatherer — Increases the yield from harvesting grass, berry bushes, reeds and mushrooms by X% and additional X% for every level at the farming skill. Maxed out at X%.
- orchardist — Increases the yield from fruit trees by X% and additional X% for every level at the farming skill. Maxed out at X%.
- repotting — Harvesting non-matured crops drops always the seeds.
- recycler — Breaking farmland now drops soil depending on the remaining fertility. Can improve the soil up to a base fertility of X.
- carefulhands — Allows you to harvest mushrooms and reeds with your bare hands without breaking the roots.
- farmer — You will receive X% more experience for all farming activities. The amount of specializations you can learn is limited.
- brightharvest — Your shears and scythes can break X% more blocks at once.
- cultivatedseeds — If you plant seeds the planted plant has a chance of X% and additional X% for each level at your farming skill to skip a growth stage. If the crop was planted in a greenhouse this ability will always trigger and has a chance to trigger again. The chance is capped at X%.
- beekeeper — Breaking harvestable skeps will give you X more Honeycombs.
- extensivefarming — Enables tool modes for some farming tools to work a larger area. Enables a X times X area tool mode.
- composting — Every time you harvest a full grown crop the farmland will receive some nutrients back.
- crossbreeding — Harvesting a fully grown crop next to a fully grown crop of another type has a base chance of X% to drop a random seed.
- beemaster — You can harvest skeps with right click without breaking them.
- claydigger — Increases clay harvesting yield by X% and additional X% for each level at the digging skill. Maxed out at X%.
- peatcutter — Increases peat harvesting yield by X% and additional X% for each level at the digging skill. Maxed out at X%.
- saltpeterdigger — Increases saltpeter harvesting yield by X% and additional X% for each level at the digging skill. Maxed out at X%.
- shovelexpert — Breaking a block with a shovel increases your digging speed with shovels by X% and additional 0.X% for each level at the digging skill. Maxed out at X%. This effect stacks up to X times and last X seconds.
- carefuldigger — Digging with a shovel has a chance of X% and additional X% for each level at the digging skill to not reduce the durability of the shovel. The chance is capped at X%.
- mixedclay — While you harvest one type of clay you have a chance of X% of getting an extra clay of an other type.
- quickpan — Increases your panning speed by X%.
- golddigger — Increases your yield while panning by X% and additional X% for each level at the digging skill. Maxed out at X%.
- digger — You will receive X% more experience for all digging activities. The amount of specializations you can learn is limited.
- scrapdetector — Every time you break a sand or gravel block there is a chance of X% that the block breaks as if it was sieved with a pan.
- scrapspecialist — Increases the amount of rare items from your Scrap Detector ability by X%.

- disease — Diseases that can be spread to other players.
- momentum — Increases mining speed with a specific tool by X%.
- dot — Deals X damage every N seconds.
- hot — Restores X health every N seconds.
- heated — Increases body temperature by X every N seconds up to Y.
- receivedDamageMultiplier — Multiplies all incoming damage by X.
- trigger — Triggers another effect for N seconds after this effect ends.
- walkspeed — Increases walking speed by X%.
- exhaustion — Decreases walking speed by X%.
- health — Increases maximum health by X.
- meleeWeaponsDamage — Increases melee weapon damage by X%.
- rangedWeaponsDamage — Increases ranged weapon damage by X%.
- hungry — Increases hunger rate by X%.
- nutrition — Modifies the nutrition value of a specific food category by X every N seconds.
- nutritionFruit — Modifies fruit nutrition by X every N seconds.
- nutritionVegetable — Modifies vegetable nutrition by X every N seconds.
- nutritionProtein — Modifies protein nutrition by X every N seconds.
- nutritionGrain — Modifies grain nutrition by X every N seconds.

The font used in this modification does not include Polish characters.
and therefore it is not very readable for languages that use characters not listed in font files and .png files
DragoKnight Yes, I changed the interface opening to the G key. You can change it to something else in the control settings.
Hi, this may be obvious, but how do I make the new interface appear? Got the other dependency mods, got this mod. But when I open up the XSkills tab it shows the ordinary interace. Anything I'm missing?

El_Neuman Good to know, ive also figured out that aqua vitae gives unlearn points, so one could theoretically just add that in a jug onto a player. Thanks for the heads up!

Looks like a text error, underneath the level bar in the GUI it says "xskillsgilded:pointsavailable"
El_Neuman Interesting that it doesn't happen to you, though I will say your popup notification window looks different than the one it gives me. Yours has a transparent background while mine has an Opaque bluish background. I've been trying to screenshot it but I keep forgetting and can't do it fast enough when it comes up to show you

I’ve tried to reproduce the bug several times, but without success. Maybe it’s worth clearing the mod cache or reinstalling the client, I don’t know. I’d rather not try to fix a problem that doesn’t actually exist :D
In any case, if the issue still occurs, just let me know. Or you can simply disable this effect in the settings:
Be holding left click mining or something right when you level up and the input gets stuck while the animation is playing.
Basically, while the "Leveled up!" textbox is on screen you can't do any inputs until it's gone

The Mod open a window outside of the game is that normal ? It seems to have stopped but it can happen apparently.

I love this mod, the only criticism I have is that it takes over all input when the level up message appears, meaning you get stuck destroying things or can't fight in combat until it finishes showing
Is there a way to make it so that the GUI closes if you press escape? Or add a X to the top right of the GUI? Having to press the same button to close trips me up at times
Are you enforcing viewport information in imgui with this mod? I need to change this because it's spawning the window offscreen, and other things work fine like changing the settings for Temperature History, and imgui itself automatically recognizes where the viewport definition should be, but yours IMMEDIATELY sets it back to 380,64 every time I change it in the config. This doesn't work at all for my setup.

The X key never had conflicts with my 177 mods

I love you! I've been debating on making this myself, but you did it first. A possible suggestion though is maybe change the key from P to something else? A few popular mods already use P so it causes conflicts similar to xskills/xskills guilded. RPVoiceChat uses it, however in their next update I believe they're going to change it to a semicolon. QP Chisel Tools also uses P. I don't blame you if you don't want to change it, but it's the only small suggestion I have.
