Deepvein: Asbestos
The first in a series of small content mods that enhance cave exploration and add unique ores.
With Deepvein: Asbestos, you can now find asbestos ore! A magical material beloved for its fire-resistant properties—and also known to be perfectly safe! Asbestos can be found in a variety of forms which can be mined and processed into asbestos paper, which is used to fireproof wooden blocks.

1.1.0 Update
The next update (which will hopefully be done within the week) will be dramatically changing the asbestos ore generation and may cause some minor issues for people updating from 1.0.0. So if you just want the handbook fixed use this version.

had lot of leaking memory logs inside client-debug with this enabled ( the memory leak entry dissapeared after removing the mod )

DrunkGeko Ops yeah thats a typo. It works with interesting Ore Gen and will use its larger and rarer ore vein types.
Does this work with Interesting Ore Gen? You mention it works with "Improved Ore Generation" which I cannot find on the mod DB, is that just a typo?

kaon10 Thanks for the heads up! I didnt notice that before. Its all fixed now.
Another issue I noticed: even in vanilla, reinforcing a block with a plumb and square makes it fireproof, kind of defeating the point of the mod. If possible, you should make it so that reinforced blocks still retain their flammability to give the asbestos paper more of a use, other than just being cheaper fireproofing.
Mod seems to work mostly fine in 1.12.1, but the handbook's help page is borked.
On an unrelated note, is there actually any built-in asbestosis mechanic, or is the end of the mod description just a joke?
It would be nice to make it let you use wood walls in cellar without the penalty of the wood once coated with asbestos.

you should be able to make fireclay bricks with asbestos and normal clay i think, as an extra use for this

Fantastic mod, I'm amazed at how fire resistant my home is! My skin is feeling itchy though.
OMG OMG guys i found out this stuff does not erode or sucumb to nature easly, we can name it "eternity" or something beacuse this great stuff will last forever.

Some of the players on my server are reporting that they are coughing up blood after having mined a whole bunch of this stuff.
I'm sure I can tell them it's totally fine and all in their head, right?
