A simple mod for players who don't like Shivers appearing on the surface of the world.
The mod simply disables them.
Note: Any other shivers spawn normally in underground and during temporal storms.

Ah it was a conflict with the mod Immersive Corpse Drop. That makes sense, don't know why I didn't think of that first apologies!
GarnetAnimations It seems your game cannot find the path in the file to configure shivers spawning.

I've been getting this notification in the log when I load a world;

MikeSyrup Unfortunately not. Since the first 1.21 RC release, the target directory location has changed.
I myself previously used an edited version of the modification for 1.20 which I found somewhere on the VS forum. You can use e.g.: No Shivers & Bowtorns or No Rust Creatures
LeuxSeveN I'll take a look at it. But I don't know when I'll have time. Rustbound is for version 1.20, so the 1.21 mod will not be compatible anyway. //
Edit: I added a mod for version 1.20.12 only, that removes the surface spawns of Drifters, Bowtorns, and Shivers (so they don't spawn from rifts). https://news.kalataka.ru/show/mod/27594

do you know how to turn off all mobs from rifts?
one of my buddies wants to play the Rustboundmagic mod, so he needs the rifts for stuff but I want to farm in pice and at most find the demons and there chalanged halfbuddies underground.

Modehunter Temporal Storm Shivers should spawn normally. Especially if they are types other than surface ones. I will add information to the description.
Does this only disable Shivers spawned by surface rifts or does it also disable Shivers from Temporal Storms?
I didnt know about mobs when i first got the game cause my freind only told me that it was "peak", and this was the very first mob I encountered
