This mod introduces a diverse collection of Macronarians to Vintage Story! From the famous Brachiosaurus to its lesser-known relatives, these are truely the largest titans to have walk on the planet, towering completely over anything they come across.
Though they are herbivorous and are peaceful, if provoked them, they will not us their collosal size against their aggressor.

Domestication
To hatch eggs, you simply place it down on the ground, they will hatch after sometimes. Important that the area is lit and also big enough for the baby dino to hatch into, it it is too small they will not hatch until there is more space.
Similarly growing will take and require enough space for them grow into their adult form.
Feeding adults,they are herbivorous, you use a large trough or throw the food on the ground, they require 200 portions max, less depending on size.
Friendly after 3 generation, you can lead them by the rope after 4 geneations, peaceful after 10 geneations
Riding
Hitching Station
If have dinosaur mount that you want to stay put, you can craft a hitching station,
Simply place it down near your mount and it will stay close to it,
If the dinosaur is not domesticated or still too wild, it may knock down the hitching station

I've corrected the amounts need in the descriptions, for patagotitans, they'll need 170 portions
I'm trying to breed my patagotitans the female is ready to mate and has eaten 131 portions but she isnt mating... is it cause she has the chests on her back?

This is more of a general question for your packs, but are there plans to adjust drops further or are they largely as-is? I am thinking of writing a rebalance patch for your stuff, as even with the maxed drop rates, I still personally find them incredibly lacking compared to like... FOTSA critters. The ratio of items just seems off. (7 hides for a 700 health critter?)
I have no problem in any case, I just don't wanna do a rather large-scope patch just to have you adjust things later on :)

Hey sorry! The file "assets/macronaria/entities/land/nest.json" isn't valid json or json5, because it's missing a trailing closing brace somewhere. I believe the game is fairly fault-tolerant there, and isn't causing any log errors.

I'm having a weird issue in that I can't seem to be able to harvest from Patagotitans. It's possible that this might affect other mobs from this mod but when I go to harvest from one I killed, it plays out the animation and then stops, which I know means that the mob has been "harvested" but the menu for taking the meat and such out does not show up. Is there something I'm missing in this regard? The harvesting hitbox is also really weird.

When a first generation argentino dies the server can't despawn the body and it throws a ton of errors of trying until the server crashes. This would be after carving it for meat and such.
They do not currently. But in the future, I want to add more accessories slot for them

I'm using this mod in 1.20.4(idk if this has anything to do with my issue) and the long neck dinos in this mod can't seem to step up onto blocks. If they step down into a 1 block deep pit or depression in the terrain for example, they can't get out of it and they are stuck there forever.

Yes. unique drops and decor is something I will do. Probably get around to it as soon as I finish the list of must have dinos.
I truly adore these mods; the animals look fantastic, and add so much life and variety to my world. The only question I really have is whether there's any intention to add unique drops at some point, I.E. hides, skulls, etc, and/or crafting recipes related to them? I'd love to have some Dino-decor.
I'll get around to changing all the riding sounds and have a second look at the riding speed.
I know they're pretty big and slow animals, but doing some testing they seem REALLY slow for riding around on like barely moving, also gonna assume the vanilla elk sounds for trotting around are gonna be replaced in the future eventually lol
Heya just wanted to let people know that if your longneck dinos are getting stuck everywhere, a temporary solution to get them to move is to place a large trough down with some dry grass in it. They IMMEDIATELY went for it and are now acting perfectly fine again!
Ah yes, the infamous tree climbing sauropods...
When the next mod roll out, I will release an update for this mod, I'll nerf their climb height and hitbox and hopefully they then eat the trees leaves rather than climb them.
So, I've been having this issue... Apparently, dinos really like climbing trees? 😀
I've only noticed it happening with animals from this mod. I can provide pics, if desired. It's really quite comical!
I can understand if they were on a mountain and were climbing down and got stuck "mid air" but how'd they get up there to begin with?

The vanilla ai path finding is just not equip for creatures this large, I'll see what I can do but being so big, they get stuck easily
Hey mate wanted to thank you for the mods absolutely loving having all these dinos in my world, but have noticed a possible bug with the Europatitans ( Unsure if this applies to others ), sometimes they will walk onto a peak or high ledge and then get stuck mid air completely static apart from their idle animations. apart from that having no problems with their pathing and overall behavior. Once again thank you for your hard work :)

Love these mods. so happy to add them to my world, though how do you destry a nest? I have found several empty ones that seem to just be abandoned and they just sit there. Cant wait to see som raptors. Hope they are next!
Loving these mods man, pretty much only need a chicken sized dino that lays edible eggs to be able to disable the vanilla animals and not be missing anything.

Running into an error when trying to place eggs. Egg does not place and the error text "No such entity loaded - 'macronaria:macronaria-brachiosaurus-egg-raw'." appears. Tried with a few other dinosaurs from the mod, but it gave the error text for each. Great mod otherwise.
