Мод создан по причине обострения лудонарративного диссонанса
Одно бревно, размер как половина серафима и что же мы получим с него?
Верно, немного дров или так же немного досок. И вот мы сносим целый лес для постройки своих укрытий и обустройства участков, а про угольные ямы я вообще молчу..

Итак, в каком направлении будет продвигаться мод..
- Стак бревна будет состоять из 1шт бревна (хардкорно но остальное немного отбалансирует)
- При колке бревна на дрова количество дров будет соразмерно размеру бревна а именно 28шт (Приблизительно)
- Распиловка досок, так же как и дрова размер стопки из досок будет приблизительно соразмерно с целым блоком бревна а именно 48шт
- Изменения рецептов танина теперь соотношение с водой 1ед бревна к 40 L воды после на выходе получите 50 L танина (НАЧИНАЯ С ВЕРСИИ V0.0.3)

Описание и дальнейшие изменения в моде скорее всего будут изменяться.
Так же я рекомедную вместе с моей модификацией добавить модификации других авторов которые дополняют игровой процесс с этим модом

The mod was created due to the exacerbation of ludonarrative dissonance.
One log, half the size of a seraphim, and what do we get from it?
That's right, a little firewood or a few boards. And so we cut down an entire forest to build our shelters and settle our plots, and I won't even mention the coal pits...

So, in what direction will the mod go...
- A stack of logs will consist of 1 log (hardcore, but the rest will balance it out a bit).
- When chopping logs for firewood, the amount of firewood will be proportional to the size of the log, namely 28 pieces (approximately).
- Sawing boards, just like firewood, the size of the stack of boards will be approximately proportional to a whole block of logs, namely 48 pieces.
- Changes to tannin recipes: now the ratio with water is 1 unit of logs to 40 L of water, and you will get 50 L of tannin at the output (STARTING WITH VERSION V0.0.3).

I'm not gonna lie the only reason I decided to install this mod is because of you invoking ludonarrative dissonance.
How do you change the values for this mod? 28 firewood per log seems like too much I would rather only get 10 or so.

Hi!
Ancient Armory didn't interfere with the vanilla recipes that were changed by this mod, my new items just didn't have the changes, as the recipes used vanilla values.
However I added compatibility for this mod, and now my items have the higher firewood output as well! (given you have this mod installed ofc.)
Mogami_Chan theoretically it is quite possible, but most likely it will take a lot of time because I don't know how the Vanilla Variants mod is structured in detail

Roatze Huh. I thought it some mod conflict, but I hadn't considered Ancient Armoy to be causing problems.
Redumulis LordOri I have encountered the same problem in my world however for me it is something that has only recently started occurring as previously it worked perfectly fine.
Since it only started occurring recently for me and i went on a small downloading spree yesterday i suspected and confirmed that the problem (at least for me) was that a third mod was overriding the crafting recipe of firewood in this mod.
For me the problem seems to be the Ancient Armory mod that was conflicting with this mod.
LordOri Interesting. Perhaps its a matter of adding it to an existing world, or existing wood. I'll report back if I find out the issue on my end.

When used with Immersive Woodchopping, there is only 4 firewood received and not 28.
Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for the special version, cause me and my friends had to tweak the mod to remove the stack limit since there was a few modded recipies that needed the default stack size.
Greetings! Really lovely mod i must say.
Personally i think that 6 logs per stack is good enough. Like those big logs irl, anyway, could be twice or even thriple bigger than person who carry it.
However, is it possible to make difference between standard logs and those thin ones? (Like wildcraft trees)

Ototinho The default size of a stack of logs is now 6 due to some of the game's original crafting recipes. version 0.44 is the version where the size of log stacks does not change at all, i.e., as in the original game. However, if I overcome my laziness and patch the original recipes in the game, the size of log stacks will return to the rather hardcore 2 units.

I noticed one odd thing; all the patches are 6 stack logs but wildcraft is 2 stack? i am not sure if that is intentional at all? also I'd personally add the mods to a compatibility list for others :)

I had to spend many hours figuring out something that wasn't obvious.
For general information, the maxstacksize and maxStackSize parameters work the same way according to the game itself... but when it comes to patches, the REGISTER turns out to be VERY IMPORTANT, and because of this, even though the patches don't apply, the file I was going to patch works.
I understand, I'd have a look and see if I could help but I'd need to remind myself how the patch api works in vs lol. I appreciate having a look for me regardless
LuppyLupan 7 mods is quite a lot, I don't know if I can handle it.
I have personally tried every single log in the mod and it works flawlessly, thank you hugely. can I make one more request (it is ok if you're busy): the floral zones series (https://news.kalataka.ru/show/user/2abe1c9265b6b2cfefae) as they add several custom trees (I do enjoy them lol) and it is a shame having them left out.

Hey, just thought I would leave a solution for only 4 firewood that I found.
My compatibility issue was the Vanilla Variants mod, the solution was simple in setting the value of firewood to false in the config file. This will result in no variant firewoods but that was not a deal breaker for me.
In testing however, I found that there was no change removing combat overhaul and all its associated mods before and after I fixed my issue.
So it's just to say it's likely something stupid like my solution, as combat overhaul works with this mod comfirmed.
EDIT: Just FYI, another 2 mods I have found a similar issue with, Maltiez's Tools Animations(could be where ppl were speculating on CO being an issue) & Ancient Armory. These also point to the firewood recipe with output quantity.
Modding is way over my head aswell but editing is fine, these values can be edited to the same values used in TrullyWoods.
Removing the recipe file instead stops splitting animation for tools mod although does allow TrullyWoods to overide value (I decided to remove mod as was just 2 animations and decided to not use Combat Overhaul) and removing firewood recipe file for the Armory mod seems to just work, all axes split wood with TrullyWoods numbers.
Sorry for the data dump, just trying to leave information incase anybody else has these override issues.

Aloy I just checked, everything works fine for me, maybe you have a third-party mod installed that changes the recipe for obtaining firewood, I used the version Immersive Wood Chopping v0.7.5

Can we have a config file so we can change the log stack back to normal? it screws up other mods only having a stack size of 1.
or a version that doesnt change any stack sizing for compatability.
Edit: I opened the mod zip and deleted the sections for force replacing stack size on logs, then used configure everything to set the values back to default on my world so im good.
Caution: given the change in the stack size of logs, you will have to patch some recipes of other mods, as an exemple, with millwright you need a stack of 2 logs to craft a windmill, which is impossible with this mod enabled as-is.
In case people didn't realize, this changes the stack size of logs to 1
Fishoo I just downloaded version 0.0.3 and started a world with just my mod and it works for me

Just downloaded the latest version, and it still won't work when making tannic acid.
Cant put more than 1 log at a time, and it needs 5 to be able to seal.
LordOri When I use this mod and vanilla variants, the amount of firewood doesn't change for vanilla variants firewood. Regular firewood gets 28 from a single log as in your mod, but Pine Firewood from Vanilla Variants only gets 4 from a single log, like in the vanilla game. It's just a bit annoying is all. The itemcode for Vanilla Variants firewood is "vanvar:firewood-[WOODTYPE]" if you need that.

Can you describe the problem in detail? My mod only changes a few recipes and the number of items in a stack, so it shouldn't conflict much with other mods.
Incompatible with Vanilla Variants firewood.
Great mod, very useful for single player, the scale of the tree farm can be made smaller

if you need to change stacks for logs, then inside the archive look for a json file in which the name contains log and change in the value "value": 1, the number 1 to the amount you need
please make it so i can change the stack size of the logs
