Cast multiple items from a single mold!
First craft the Multi-Mold of your choice, fire it, and you'll get a "weak" multi-mold. You can use it right away if you want to quickly make a bunch of a particular cast, or you can use metal strips and nails to reinforce it to make it unlimited use!
Works with all clay types and beehivekiln coloring!

JavaBeansI was having the same issue, it was Smithing plus causing the issue. I assume something to do with it decreasing the cost of molds.
snagawag it should be fine, but i'd surmise its a conflict with another mod
hello! loving this mod and it works great for us, in the client-main.log i do get these messages. we have a big mod list so could be a conflict, but we have not yet built a beehivekiln.

I don't know if others have reported this issue but Im seeing an issue with the Multi-Nails And Strips Mold, the mold itself says it requires 380 of x metal but when its cooled to be retreived it dosen't put the 16 nails and strips into my inventory it just keeps making the metal sound. Also the Multi-Plate mold Im having an issue with that aswell, I filled it up with molten metal and its the same story with the Nails and Strips mold
Finding this as I stare at 68 ingot molds that I'm preparing to fill... I just want more copper lanterns lol!

requimeau I initially didn't make one due to the "no sharps" mentality, but given arrow heads can be on the cruder-side and still work I might consider this in the next update.

Running 1.0.4 on VS 1.20.0 and just made a reinforced nail and strip mold and it says it needs 380 metal, not 400 in the tooltip. One of the other mold mods had users reporting the quantities seemed odd I think after 1.21 so I wonder if something in the API changed.

BrownishStorm check out...i think it's Toolsmith? it adds a sharpening mechanic, tool stats influenced by what you make your handle out of/what you bind the head and handle with, a debuff to cast tool durability requiring you to work the tool head on an anvil, etc.
Razgriz vis saw molds - add a mark of desire for them. There are other mods that add saw casting or other means of early saws like the obsidian tools expansion so we can do without - but I'd use it.
Either way cool mod much appreciated.

i think in regards to BrownishStorm request, you could add those, but put them into a "cheat" setting. Using "Config Lib" mod would be awesome for this.
Razgriz then the normal settings will have it disabled, but if the player wants it, then just change the configuration, reload the world and they would be good to go. It would satisfy some people's preference and also keep your preference to maintain "things locked to smithing vs casting", since those new one will be "cheating" the process.

I can respect that. In reality I belive anything with an endge would then require sharpening after casting and the game doens't have mechanics for sharpening.
BrownishStorm I considered other molds but decided against it due to wanting to keep some things locked to smithing vs casting. My main decider was anything with a fine sharp edge, like the chisel, saw, even the falx despite it being a mold itself.

Hey, currently stuck on 1.20.12 due to a docker image not being updated yet and still have version 1.0.1. Only just got to attempting to use the reinforced multi ingot mold with some copper but for some unknown reason can't get the copper to pour, any ideas?
ShaeTsu my first instinct would be to say "well then dont use them" lol but if you want to fully disable them you can. You should be able to edit the json files and remove them so they won't even show up as an option if you don't want them.
A version without the tool head molds would be neat. I frequently make lamellae, ingots, nails, and plates in bulk but pretty much never make more than one extra tool at a time.

Lordfortress these are custom molds specifically for this mod, any molds from other mods will not have a multi-variant. That being said if the mod is popular enough and there's enough desire for me to make Multi-Variant patches of molds from other mods I will look into it.
Cat_Story What version of the game are you running? On 1.21.0-rc.7 the reinforced molds work as intended and the "Weak" molds break as intended. As for the Z-Fighting and texture warping, I must have missed one or two, I'll fix those up real quick.

A quick reminder for anyone thinking this is too op: You can't cast iron or steel, so it will only be useful for decoration.

I really like the idea of this mod and will use it from now on, but there are some bugs: the reinforced molds don't work (it showes the animation, but no metal is added to the molds). This isn't that much of a problem, though, because the normal, non-reinforced molds don't break after use. Still, I really hope this gets fixed soon.
There also are some small texture probels like z-fighting and distorded textures, but nothing immersion breaking.
this might just be some incompatibility problems with my other mods.
Edit: I was on the wrong VS version. also all the texture probels got fixed in the newes version
