Versions:
- A regular version of the Fancy Sky - Regular
- The Red Spider Nebula: version updates will now focus on increasing the variety of starry sky textures, there will be Named versions like this one - Red Spider Nebula
- Galaxy "Messir 82" more atmospheric starry sky - "Messir 82"
- Milky Way - "Milky Way"
- Milky Way + Blood Moon -"Blood Moon"
Starting with this(1.0.3) version the mod global changes will occur in the second group of characters, i.e. 1.XX.XX 3rd group will simply reflect the new content
For versions 1.16.pre.1 and above, no longer need to copy the asset from the archive mod in the folder of the game.
Description in the file readme.txt in the archive with the mod.
The mod works on the client side regardless of the game option, single player or server game.This mod does not affect the FPS in the game, and should not!

Minor tweaks to texture tones, saturation and RGB range, should look more natural. Added a file with the tone of the sky, the transition from the sky to the horizon. Still need to manually copy the sky texture files, this will be corrected in a later release of the game itself. So if you want to see the starry sky from the mod, copy the folder with these files manually to the directory

i love how beautiful this makes the night sky look but the sun and moon are WAYY too large in comparison to real life. would love to see another version of this with more accurate sun and moon sizes.
will this be updated for 1.20?

Started a new game with a ton of mods for 1.19 and it was running pretty smooth until I looked up at the sky and it literally froze my entire PC. I'm not saying it was this mod entirely, but I removed this mod and started the same map again and everything seems normal again.

Is this compatible with the Volumetric Shader mod?
SirRogue Check the mods menu in the game to see if the mod is listed and enabled. I sometimes confuse the folder with the actual version of the game, since I have installed several, and it was also that I do not see some mod :) I just checked again with myself and it's working.
Mod seems to not work for me on latest. Does not replace the sky at all. No stars, no nothing, I think maybe the sun and moon or changed but even using the galaxy version it's not showing. Did I maybe install it wrong? I just dragged the mod zip into the mods folder, and it's enabled as well.
Thankyou for this mod. so frusterating that you cant tell the time in vanilla because it's near impossible to see the moon/sun

Is there any easy way to edit the mod so we only get the sky changes, & not the sun & moon? I love the starry sky, but the HD sun & moon are just a little off-putting for me.

The textures of the sky, the moon, the sun, changed in all versions. If necessary, only the moon, I can do such a variant
It looks like the current 'regular' package contains the milky way sky and a blood moon. Can't find the 'regular' sky images in any of the zips.

Could we have preview pics of the different versions? If they exist in the mod images, I'd appreciate it if you overlaid text on them to indicate which version they are.

I found that this mod causes Acacia Leaves to be invisible on 1.17.3.

Now only these 2 starry sky files are changed. I see no point in specifying which files will be replaced, as I specifically advise making a copy of the original files, and yes at the moment this is only done by copying directly to the specified folder, in the future once Tyron fixes this, then the mod will be fully functional, and will not require copying. Which files are affected for the changes starry night?
I don't want to change all, because the Sun and the Moon files are working.
I test it currently with only stars-ft.png and stars-up.png replaced.
Is this correct? Please be more precise in your readme file.
Would it be possible to add events, such as a comet appearing in the night sky, lunar eclipse or meteor showers/shooting stars? Have a very low chance for a comet but it lasts variably from a few days to a couple of weeks. Meteor showers could happen once a year for a couple of days while shooting stars could happen occasionally maybe once a night to once a week.
