Welcome to Ancient Weaponry!
Focused on weaponry that mainly comes from medieval or primitive times!
Has custom animation for attack and hold for almost every weapon the mod adds!
Tries to balance those weaponry to suit perfectly into the game.

Features:
- Currently only 4 new weapons with many styles! (It would be hard to add more with balance.)
- Yes! Mod fully works on survival you can smith and craft all those new beautiful weapons!

What weapons are added by this mod:
Zweihander being a large two-handed sword first made during the 15th-16th centuries in Germany with high distance and damage but slow attack swing.
Hasta being longer SPQR spear than the regular vintage story one, it is NOT possible to throw it and has higher attack tier than the normal spear.
Cutlass was a short sabre primarly used by sailors, pirates, and privateers. Created in Europe and it has first appeared during 17th century. Quick attack but deals less damage than Falx and one less tier attack.
Lucerne hammer is a type of polearm that was mostly used in Swiss armies during around late 15th to the 17th centuries. Very quick attack dealing not much damage but having VERY high attack tier.

What variants those weapons got:
Zweihander having steel (with decorative gold and silver), iron, meteoric iron and steel variants
Hasta having wooden and metal sub-variants that both got steel on (with decorative gold and silver)
Cutlass having ALL falx types except copper
Lucerne hammer having only steel (with decorative gold and silver)
Languages:

Support for other mods:
- Re-Alloy: Adds the same way as it was before (Temporal steel: hasta/hammer/zweihander/cutlass, lockalloy: zweihander/cutlass, aluminum bronze: cutlass)

no idea how i could make configs but ill look into that surely

whenever testing with x-skills everything worked all fine, at least from what i know it shouldnt have any issues unless there's something i didnt know that requires to make support
Any plans to add support for X skills?

Maybe add some configs? On my modpack, for example, it will be too hard to survive with basic damage level. Also your models so nice so i craft them for collection. I think you can solve all balance problems with one move? just add config, and everybody will set damage as they wish.

I could try lookin into making some more weapons, but might be hard to balance new stuff with the current weapons to not leave some of those useless, i tried making all of them as unique as possible and making a new one with "uniqueness" would be kinda hard...
But class related weaponry could be fine the same as we got the forlorn/blackguard shortsword, we could have some variants of other weaponry too i think.
Awesome mod! Very like sword model! If you want, here some suggestions for compat: can jewelry, quivers and sheaths, maybe some forlorn stuff and other metals. PLEASE MORE WEAPONS! 😀

Thank you a lot! I wanted to keep lucerne in steel variant only because of pvp balancing reasons, but ill look into making an iron variant maybe it will suit more than i think. And CO support is planned! Just not in the way yet especially i would have to somehow get to know how i could even make it hehe
The weapons aesthetics, along with the animations, make this an incredibly fitting mod for Vintage Story. If I didn't know any better, I'd think this is part of an official update. Having lucerne hammers have iron variants is literally the only way I could see this mod being improved outside of an obligatory CO support suggestion, this is THAT good.
W speed
