Never be stuck with shingle blocks after overestimating how many of a certain type you need again.
Now you can disassemble shingle blocks, or convert them into their counterparts.
Features:
New in 1.2:
-Disassemble all shingle and shingle roofing blocks with a chisel.
-Convert roof slab and ridges into each other without any loss.
-Convert slanted roofing top/bottom/left/right blocks back into slanted roofing block with a chisel.

Note: if you play with primitive survival, you first need to convert your "Better Stairs" into normal ones.

Do you plan on including the new wooden roofing blocks into your mod?
AngryOscar Great idea and fully in the spirit of having "too many shingle blocks". Ability added with the latest version, but i felt like hammering on a shingle block with a knife feels a bit off, so you´ll need a chisel.
I would love if you could take any of the shingle options and disassemble them by crafting them with a knife or other tool. Often times I build too many random roof pieces and just want to turn them back into raw shingles.
SoupMaster Sure, I don´t think it would fit this mod, as it´s just a recipe mod, but i could see myself making a mod with some usefull variants of blocks missing from the vanilla game, like full roofing blocks for slate/copper
Still I´d recommend looking at those 2 mods, it would fit there much better
