Requires Translatable Books - Vintage Story Mod DB
Lore mod with a translatable series of books containing textual descriptions of the Twelve Keys by Basil Valentine.
Books are now purchasable from the librarian trader.
Adds an alchemy trader who sells Lavoisier parts and buys the produced materials.
Integrates with the following mods:
ChemistryLib - Vintage Story Mod DB
Lavoisier - Vintage Story Mod DB
BetterRuins - Vintage Story Mod DB
Survival Mode - Find or trade for the skill notes to decode the symbols.
Creative Mode -
To learn all the symbols, use the chat command
/teachall <playername> Alchemical
To learn a single symbol, use the chat command
/teach <playername> <symbol>
/help teach
/help teachall
/help forget
/help forgetall

thanks for the feedback! I will double-check the Alchemy trader, he was spawning in creative for me so maybe I made a mistake when I packaged the mod.
the longterm plan is for the mod to add gameplay as well as lore. Im just starting it slowly as I am still planning the gameplay out with a friend.
Ok so Idk if I did something wrong, or just the Alchemy Trader doesnt have a creative spawner. I found the Librarian trader just fine, but then there is a kitchenware trader from culinary artilery mod and no alchemy trader :c Just thought I would let you know.
I have to admit when I first saw this mod I glanced over it, saying to myself I dnt need more books in my game! But then I looked again and actually read the description and was shocked at the gameplay it adds! And I am always for more Traders in the game hehe :) This is an awesome mod Idea and I will definitely let you know if I come across any rendering issues.
Please send feedback on whether the new font is rendering properly for you. I've been fighting with the VTML rendering a lot. I've only applied it to the English language version of the Foreword so far.
Waiting for 1.19 to add to the vessel loot tables, as apparently we're getting the ability to do that in JSON rather than code.
