Latest release (for Vintage Story 1.20.12, outdated):

Does your inventory keep getting clogged by the amount of temporal gears you're getting from your adventures? Are you playing 1.20.12 and you don't have slots on your elk for holding them?
This mod lets you craft all the elk medallions into temporal versions to save that precious inventory slot for more important loot (like sticks). When you need the temporal gear, you can easily uncraft the temporal medallion, and get both the elk medallion and temporal gear back (even though the recipe makes it look like you only get the temporal gear).
Features:
- All elk medallions have their own temporal gear version, where the main parts of the texture (usually tin bronze) is changed to the temporal gear texture.
- The three gear amulets, temporal, rusty and gold, have their own medallions.
- The temporal gear medallion is animated and spins (it is janky and varies in velocity, but I feel like that is true to the temporal gears nature).
- Crafting back and forth. The crafting recipes are grouped together, inspired by Handbook Declutterer.
Known issues / compatibility: Always make backups before installing new mods!
Using temporal medallions will cause the metal on the bridles to turn temporal... Idk how to fix it other than bloating the mod with duped shape files for either the medallions or the bridles.
Vanilla Variants - Riding Equipment (+ Attribute Rendering Library):
- For some reason the temporal change doesn't affect the bridle with Vanilla Variants installed. Very cool.
- Un-crafting temporal medallions will give you the vanilla version of the item, and not the Vanilla Variants version :( I talked with Dana and we couldn't easily get it to work
- The crafting recipes are broken for the Vanilla Variants medallion variants. All other recipes work fine, and the vanilla variant medallions can be obtained from the creative inventory. The temporal gear crafting recipes work fine.
- If you really like a particular vanilla variant version, that can be set to the default version of that particular medallion. I can fix it for you if you need :)
Other mods with mounts:
If other mods add mounts that use the elk medallions, most of the temporal versions should work fine, I would guess. But I don't think the additional pure-gear medallions will work. Make sure to test the compatibility first (preferably not in fullscreen), cause it may crash your game :0
There is a small patch to BetterRuins' loot tables, but there shouldn't be any temporal medallions to be traded, nor in chests, so if you see any, please let me know.
Future plans:
- I will probably update this mod to 1.21 once I start playing on that version. This mod might be compatible with 1.21, assuming they haven't changed the elk too much.
- Making the temporal versions glow, or even emit light.
Uninstalling:
Make sure to restart the game after disabling the mod, otherwise the texture changes may still be applied.
Any temporal medallions attached to elk will become invisible, and can safely be removed.
The temporal medallion items will become useless. I would suggest un-crafting temporal medallions back to their components before uninstalling, if possible.
If the mod is disabled and then re-enabled, it should be fine.

ICountFrom0 The spoiler content is optional, so nothing to worry about :)
I might mess around with at least making them glow, maybe emitting light, depends on my skill. But I don't have time for the next three or so weeks
Hopefully I'll be able to fix the other bugs too
I'm worried about the under spoiler content.
While I contemplate if I want to use this or not... how about tempting me by making the elk with the temporal "emit faint light" like the gear in hand and the pendant?
