Thanks for this mod, really great for small tweaks, but when using the Steel full plate armor the clanking sound still persist though.

No worries! I had to at least mention it in my comment, so anyone else who is in a similar situation wouldn't be disappointed by the current incompatibility.

That's because Combat Overhaul: Armory divides the armor.json into 7 different jsons.
It's possible to patch his files to do it, but that would require Maltiez permission.

Oh, excellent! I was just talking about figuring out how to do this while playing with Maltiez's combat overhaul, as it layers the various armor sounds according to what you're wearing in layers. It gets very bothersome at times, so if this function with that mod, it'll be the perfect solution! I'll try it now.

Edit: Currently, it doesn't function with the changed armor in Combat Overhaul.
