PlayerAlias_v1.1.5.zip 1-click install

This mod adds in the abililty to set an alias for the in game nameplate. it comes with two commands

/playeralias set_alias {new_alias}
- sets the current player to a new_alias
/playeralais remove_alias
- resets the current player to their default name

It also adds in the abililty to hide other players on the map using this command

/mapHideOtherPlayers {true : false}

Seems like most of the issues karmatose was stating a couple months ago are still around, people's aliases weren't applying properly/no persistence.

Hey! We just added this to our server and it seems there are a couple issues with how aliases display. Namely:

When first changed, aliases appear to display properly client-side, but if I want other players to be able to see my nametag, I need to relog first.
When players go out of range of another player and then return into their range, the alias disappears.

Note that we are testing this in conjunction with a couple other mods, most relevantly:

TheBASICs RP Chat mod
Cancel Book Signature
Itemizer
Th3Essentials.

I doubt these would affect your mod, but I thought I'd mention them just in case they would. Hope this helps!
