Updates:
You can now pick up a mannequin even if it contains items; the inventory will automatically transfer to the mannequin itself. This makes relocating it much easier. I plan to add a more immersive experience in the future, but this is a solid start.
I've enhanced the interaction features so the actions are clearer, and you can now rename the mannequin directly through the GUI.

Will there be compat for CO armor?
sadly from what ive seen is i can only put 1 layer of armor on : C
it would be cool if you could customize the pose and the position of held item better, like with a slider you can change where an item will be hold and other things
SpicyHott are you trying to do Shift (Ctrl) + Right click?
Is there a way to pick them up? I've been having an issue trying to pick them up with the prompt it gives me but it just opens the mannequin ui.

v1.21.0 Any interaction with the mannequin crashes the game.

In 1.21.0-pre.3 it doesn't work. The mannequin can be placed on the floor. If you put any clothes on the mannequin, the game crashes.
In the new version of the game, as far as I understand, the behavior of some entities is changed.
I understand that it is too early to configure this mod. But I really like it (Many hugs from me for this work). And I hope that with the release of the new stable version of the game, the mod will also work.
It might be useful to add this to the mod description. When updating a version of the game, it is important to make a backup copy of the save. If the mannequins start behaving badly again (and entities can do this), you need to roll back the version. Put all the clothes in chests, and in the new version of the game, put new mannequins and dress them.

using the wrench to change poses does work! But I think it may be client side only, relogging or simply leaving the area and returning always results in the mannequin returning to a neutral position, on a dedicated server.

misterandydandy i know omg, i was looking in creative and couldn't find them. the crafting recipe isnt even in the handbook,its like the mod isnt installed, i've reinstalled it twice and nothing changed,
Sorry to hear that no one told me about this crash before if it happened again let me know and for creating not making a block with ? Because I don't think entities do that it's not a block.
When the mod is removed, all mannequins disappear from the world without creating "?" blocks. Any clothes that were equipped also disappear. This can be a problem when the game updates faster than the mod. Unfortunately, I have encountered in the past that non-updated mannequins caused the game to crash.
Still, thanks for the update. Our sewing workshop was sad without this mod.
What do you mean by that Sad_yst you have to make them first.

yes exactly! You could have one with just feet to display boots, just hands to display gauntlets (although I guess they'd have to be rotated around to work nicely)
You can actually see there are vanilla blocks that have just the torso, just the legs, and just the head, although none of them are functional

Do you want to display just the mannequin head or you want to use a mannequin head but also be able to put a hat or a helmet on it?
oh great, I've been waiting for this one! I don't like being the "ideas guy" but I'll leave it here all the same:
It would be nice to have displays for particular slots, for shops and things. Essentially have disembodied mannequin heads/hands etc that can be used as display/storage for items that go in that slot only, that fit in a single block space (or less!)

I am so happy this is back! I use these as stand ins for NPCs and use the Vinconomy mod to have shops. So they shops don't look so empty.

Hi ! I was looking for a mod like this, my tailor friend is so sad that she can't display her clothes on her mannequins, but I've seen that you did'nt updated it yet for 1.20+ I hope you will be able to do so, it's very a very cool mod. Thank's ♥
This is a unique mod that allows you to store beautiful clothes outside of your chest. And it doesn't work 😭
014Darkness The mod does not work with the current version yet, easy mistake to make when looking at the current date, it says 2024 however, not 2025. That being said, my friends and I are also eagerly waiting for an update, since we'd love to use this mod again! ☺️
Getting this crashlog on 1.20.4 when trying to place a mannequin, crafting works fine, if it helps.
Just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed this mod! It's neat seeing the outfits found in ruins come together (and it adds a way to store/display them). Looking forward to the update! Thanks misterandydandy!

I love this mod and our server is looking forward to it being updated for 1.20. Right now it is causing instant crashes on Test.
Any plans to update to 1.20 now that it has officially released?
I just noticed if you were using 1.18.15 and you moved over to 1.19 if you had any item mannequin on the player it will probably come back being a missing item.
I'll post a remapper in a bit to fix this issue and I'll be putting it in the new update too sorry people.

Hello! Will this mod be updated for 1.19? As of right now, if you click on the mannequin the game crashes. I am hoping that I have not lost the clothes that are placed on the many mannequins I have around my base. TIA
