Lets you smelt down scrap/parts to steel/iron.
Iron blooms need 2 scrap to one charcoal.
Blister steel requires 4 parts and one charcoal.
Both types (up and down) of rusty spikes from locusts nests now drop and smelt 6 spikes and one charcoal for one iron bloom

I agree, wording on the mod page is a bit weird, but the author also hasn't been active here since 2022 so I don't really expect it to change XD. Though, hopefully today, I'm gonna test that this mod still works~
Mr1k3 I'm a little confused by the wording you've used in the description. It says lets you smelt scraps/parts into steel/iron, however, I don't see anything in the handbook regarding this mod that suggests anything can be melted down into steel, its all just iron blooms. Am I misunderstanding something or missing something?
Can now confirm - this mod still works in 1.20!!
I have got as far as seeing that the recipe to smelt metal parts/scraps/spikes in bloomeries still exists in 1.20 - haven't tried to actually do it yet though. I'll update again after I've tested it!
Does anyone know if this still works in 1.20?
Seemed to work just fine on 1.19.5. I'm updating to 1.19.8 now, if it doesn't work, I'll update this comment.

Recipes registered correctly in my (extremely limited) testing. Will do some more testing with a friend and report back, but I'd say this one's just fine. As a JSON mod, there's no reason this one shouldn't still work, unless something unusual has happened.

Would it be possible if you added something for when you find copper arrowheads and be able to melt them down. but maybe only giving a minimum amount back from them, or having to put a few in to make a small nugget. Otherwise its a nice idea, one I really would like to be added to our modded server.
