Nothing too crazy, just a small mod to tweak a few other mods, and add a few recipes, ya know, just trying my hand at this mod creation thing, no biggie.
What is added...
- Knapping: You ever look at the knapping stone and go 'bruh, I totally can fit another knife or two on this thing'? Welp, ponder no more! This mod adds a knapping pattern to most of the base tools to give you more bang for your buck! The mod gives...
- 9 arrows (flint only), 2 hatchets, 2 hoes, 3 knives, 2 spears (Flint and stone). The only tool head not to be given a buddy is the Shovel, muh boy is THICK! The pattern remains mostly unaltered, think I may of flipped it cause I thought it was funny in this sleep deprived coding attempt. Some people may recognize those numbers, and that's because this part is very much inspired by Knapping Mastery. It still works to this day, I think, despite not being updated in a long time, but the little 'out of date' icon and notification annoys me. That and I also added a knapping for each tool (besides shovel and arrow heads) that should only give 1 item, ya know, when you don't want excess. If the other mod is ever updated, I'll remove this part from my mod. Example in screen shots.
- Climbable trapdoors: As it says on the tin! Climbable vanilla trap doors. Useful for the shorter races via PlayerModelLib! (tested with a block tall kobold). Will look into patching flora and other modded trap doors once I'm a little more comfortable with coding.
- BetterRuins/Flora: BetterRuins adds blueprints. Flora has a lot of nice sleek wood door options, which aren't craftable or buyable? At least not that I could see. So, I made it so you could craft the sleek doors with the blueprint. I may go back and see about making it craftable without the blueprint, but I think there's a mod out for that already? Also made the sleek doors insulating, like the vanilla ones. If it's ever patched I'll take it out of this mod. Example in screen shots.
- BetterRuins: The Large Gear section, with the machinist's blueprint, called for boards.. of only oak? Why is Oak so special it is the only one to be chosen to get our querns a spinning? May of been a balancing thing, but I say nay, let the boards rejoice! At the moment it's just the base game boards, will fight with the coding later to also add in floral trees. Example in.. screen shot? Not sure how i'm suppose to show that. Different colored boards, wooooo~
Didn't really test this with many mods outside of betterruins and the floral mods that add trees, so not sure if there are conflicts with anything else, but there shouldn't be? It's a pretty straight forward mod, considering my inexperience. That being said, not sure what will be compatible either. I'll take a look at it later and see about cleaning it up.
As I stated before, if any of those mods patch in the issues themselves, or update, I'll remove the parts myself. If the Knapping part is an interest of people who don't care about betterruins/floral, I can also slap that into it's own mod. Play it by ear for now.
