This is an optional configuration tweak for Regenerating Ores (https://news.kalataka.ru/regenores) which allows the Regenerating Ores to be dropped by mining them, and relocated wherever you want.
I consider this more of a 'cheat' mod so only use this if you know what you're signing up for. :)

Regarding what I mentioned on the main mod, and agreeing with The_Box, maybe dropping the "time to mine" for the ore nodes would make sense for this tweak/submod.
ie
Things like regen quartz could be half the time of the OG block.
Other ores could be 1.0x to 1.5x time.
Other thought could be slimming down the regen node a bit further in the main mod. Admittedly, they are already a bit thin, but needing to see is rather paramount, to be honest.
The thing I'm almost tempted to do is make it so quartz regen nodes still break completely [no drop] where other ores do drop. Simply because quartz is plentiful by default. Any you break must be getting done away with to focus on acquisition of other resources.
One suggestion for this mod, since so many people are still talking about how difficult it an be to get to the ore you want with a ton of regen blocks around. Maybe have it so this mod also brings the mining time for the regen blocks down, since there's less to lose by breaking them since they drop? That way, if a player's trying to get to something in the middle of a bunch of ore they mined, they can just break the regen blocks to get to it quick and easy.
Interesting... Perhaps later down the road this could be tweaked with some form of tool requirement to actually gather them properly.
Thanks for the quick tweak/config for the mean time, at least, even if it's separate from the main mod.
To be fair, however, the closest thing I think the game has to what I am mentioning is how the Prospecting Pick destroys any blocks you "mine" with it. So there's essentially an inversion of the mechanic I'd want there, rather than a near-match of "this tool is needed to harvest, though any tool can break"... 🤔
