Reupload of Bowtorn Balance for 1.21, as that mod became outdated. The mod makes bowtorns weaker by reducing their attacks significantly so that they're more of a supporting monster rather than being extremely deadly on their own.

quick json patch mod. (should work on any version, even if marked as outdated)
summary of changes:melee:
- shifts all melee damage tiers down by one, no tier 4 melee attacks
- melee attack damage reduced across the boardranged:
- max range slightly reduced (28>24) (detection/aggro range is the same, they'll just close the distance first. this causes less random shots from the dark before you even see them.)
- projectile slowed down significantly, you can strafe while running to "dodge" them.
- projectile damage nerfed across the board (surface bowtorn no longer do 5 damage a hit, nerfs are lesser on higher tiers)overall, they are significantly weaker on their own. i don't think it makes sense for them to be able to hold their own, rather they should provide support while stronger rust creatures attack.
the nerfs do not mitigate their threat entirely, it just makes them easier to pick off on their own.

oh, and since this is just a patch mod, modpacking is allowed as long as credit is given.

is it compatible with combat overhaul? not sure if that mod changes the attack values on bowtorns or not
