ASC0.0.3.zip  1-click install

Greetings, VS enjoyer.

This mod contains:

  • 2 armors,
  • 7 helmets, multiple of which have variants,
  • 4 different colors of short clothing,
  • 4 different colors of long pants.

Their stats are similar to the same type of bronze/iron wearables in game.

As always, it's not perfect, but I hope you'll enjoy it.

It is Combat Overhaul compatible.

Should still work for 1.20.12.

May the gods be with you.

Keltskiy It's fixed now, thanks for the report. You can just download the hotfix without any issue.

I can't find a way to craft the Brown Celtic Cape?

disputedname I am considering making some more armors from the mesopotanian region soon, plus possibly some gladiator gear. More ideas and references are very welcome, you can find the mods' channels in the VS discord.

this stuff's awesome, how much more if any do you plan to make of historically themed armors?

Bummed_Machinist I don't have any specific references/sites or do I keep track of which. I mostly cross compare as many images I am able to find on the internet and try to make sure they were used historically. Nothing special.

Oh okay, I will be looking forward to Greece then! When I first started VS I totally assumed bronze armor wouldve been based on the typical depiction of a hoplite, so that fills a gap in expectations for me, assuming.

Thanks for the response, I love seeing the less war focused aspects of the ancient world depicted too. If you have the time in the future, I'd love to find out where you found the references!

Bummed_Machinist I appreciate the comment, I do it partially because I have no clue what would be balanced so to be safe and partially because I am lazy and wanna push out the models. I have no plans for china yet, but does sound like something I might consider in the future. Don't get your hopes up though as I'll be focusing on greece and middle east, afterwards adding some more additional content to the existing packs.

I really appreciate how the armors have parity in stats to the vanilla armors, there are so many cool armor mods but they end up messing with the game balance/progression.

That said, I love history and I'm really excited by this series! Do you have any plans to make a mod covering ancient China in the future?
