When peat bricks are first harvested they're wet, needing 7 days to dry (open to suggestions to changing this drying time) after which you get dry peat bricks, from where you can craft 6 of them together into a packed peat brick or craft it together with a knife to make shredded peat, shredded peat can be mixed together with fat and resin which you can turn into 3 different types of bricks with their own burn duration and temperature, see table below for the values or just look at the pictures, I just like tables.

What seems to be broken BucketMann?
Everything seemed to work fine when I checked after the update and just in case tested everything again right now, unfortunately I can't update the game version on an already uploaded file (afaik).

Reverhaus Let me know what you come up with :) I made it with having no trees nearby in mind as thats how my world generated, but when playing realized i still need trees for resin, but then thought to just have it as an alternative to charcoal since I also find digging charcoal pits kinda annoying, so any input on the balance would be really welcome, I suck at it.
Interesting overhaul of peat! I think it expands the possible uses of peat, while balancing its use with firewood (it's usually much easier for me to go and collect peat than to chop wood); it's also another way to melt metals if you don't have coal (although it's very expensive to make resin bricks or fat-resin bricks). I'll have to test it extensively to see how it interacts with other fuels. 🤔🤔🤔
