Beautiful decorative pottery can only be bought from traders... who are not only rare but also highly unreliable, due to them having random and limited stock.
So I made it so you can now craft all vanilla decorative pottery using crushed minerals and powders!
Built-in Ceramos compatibility, for more immersive experience!
(FYI Ceramos mod requires a fix for version 1.20.+)
Apply a bunch of powders or glazes in crafting grid on a raw planter/flowerpot/vessel and fire the result in a pit kiln.
Nothing more, nothing less, gobless.

Kappir when you say 99%, how vital is that 1%?
Jhoulana with EM no, with bricklayers for 99% no
is this confligting with expanded matter or bricklayers ??
Gaudi made it so you apply glazes or dyes to the fired vessel, that was a good idea
Stratateles I was using expanded matter mod, which adds recipies for those powders, oops!
Otaku idk, works fine for me
Vanilla recepies don't show up in multiplayer for me
Hello.
To say that I like this mod would be an understatement. I love this mod so much for my worlds. It is a nice way to add colours to your buildings without going into chiseling.
I actually ended up modifying it to also allow you to use the fired clay versions as well as the raw versions (I made a copy of the recipe .json file in the grid folder that is the same as the normal version, but uses the burnt variants. It works quite well and shows up in the survival handbook like a normal recipe with multiple inputs where it cycles through the variants).
However, this also means that when this mod needs updating, i will have to modify it again.
So I have a small request (you do not have to follow through with it btw, but it would be nice if possible).
But also, this is something that people in pottery also does. They fire their pottery, and then glaze it, before firering it again. I just think that adding this option would just make this mod more complete and give peopel and option to re-use pottery already made without having to make new pottery. I can share the modified .json file via a link if you want.
Anyway, I really love this mod. Thank you for making it.
Stratateles grind crushed stuff in the quern, I think
Hey, loving the mod! Such a great and simple way of getting the decorated pottery! I do have a tiny issue however - was that a mistake for the need of (for example) "powdered cinnabar" instead of "crushed cinnabar" or am I just missing a dependency of some kind (I'm not playing with Ceramos)? Crushed cinnabar is not a problem, just toss it into a pulverizer, but powdered cinnabar (or powdered lapis) is uncraftable (unless my handbook is lying to me).
Hey man, love the mod! Do you have a discord I can reach out to? I wanna talk to you about a mod I'm working on, and can't seem to find you there. My discord is the same as my username here.
