Summary:
Makes use of the smelting mechanic in the game to allow beeswax to be smelted and molded into nice and easy-to-store ingots.
The ingots can be either stacked or chopped back into small beeswax cubes wich has all the crafting functionalities of regular beeswax.
Mechanics:
Beeswax can be inserted into a crucible and smelted into a liquid.
The molten beeswax can then be poured into an ingot mold.
16 beeswax is required in order to fill the mold entirely. Meaning every beeswax stacks yields two ingots.
The melting point of the wax is 64 C° or 147.2 F°.
Due to the low melting point, it is recommended to keep the wax at the lowest temperature possible while smelting it, otherwise, it might take a long time for the ingot to solidify.
Beeswax ingots can be stacked, stored or chopped back into usable wax in the crafting grid.
The beeswax obtained from chopping down ingots can be used like regular beeswax in recipes or smelted back into ingots.

There are some issues with this mod but it's only client sided stuff and none are game breaking.
Most notably, there is a rendering bug where if an ingot full of hot beeswax shatters, the shapes of the shattered ingot that represents the metal may not render and throw an error in the client logs.
The cause of this issue is unknown to me and i've tried and spent way too much trying to figure out why it was happening. Worst part is that it sometime works in certain worlds and sometime doesn't in others which baffles me.
I talked about it in details on the forums and issue tracker but so far I haven't had any luck. If you have an idea as of why this is happening, i'd be very pleased to hear about it on one of those pages.
Another things that i think is important to point out is that the effects of the beeswax being poured into the mold is gonna sound exagerated for the temperature at which it is because the game assumes it molten metal and there's nothing i can do about that unless i make it a code mod. You also hear a metallic sound effects when taking the ingots from the mold.

Any possibility for compatability with the various mold mods? Being able to pour the wax into bulk molds would be a great for mass production

I think this is a great idea but this would require adding codes to the mod and I would rather avoid doing that.
Hello,
To be little more realisting warming wax above some temperature should cause irrevocable loss of it (or risk of ignition/burning) but that might require quite a bit of work to implement and balance.
Tegotia
Thanks again for reporting that game breaking issue.
I've updated the mod and it should now be fixed.

Thanks for reporting this issue. After some testing I've found out that none of the beeswax can be inserted inside a cooking pot.
This is because I had to change the storage flags of the beeswax so it can be inserted inside a crucible.
This is something I completely overlooked and it means that this mod just can't work without adding code. At least not to my knowledge.
I'm gonna call this mod broken and recommend not to use it.
Thanks again for bringing this to light.
My tiny brain just figured out how storage flags works.
I found a fix and working on it.
I suspect it's a mod conflict and I have too many mods to narrow it down (maybe Expanded Foods since that affects the cooking pot mechanics?), but I figured I should mention that with this mod installed I could not put regular beeswax into a pot to make candles with, they just refused to insert into the slots. As soon as I uninstalled it the issue was resolved.

Not sure what your are referring to. On my end, all the images on all my mod pages appears fine.
I've only had one instance where I had to reupload a thumbnail image for one of my mod but that's it.
If there's a problem somewhere that i am unaware I'd be willing to help but I'd rather not use Discord.
You can message me on Vintage Story, here is my real account.
Hey, this might be a strange way to contact you, but I'm the guy currently eveloping the moddb and I've noticed the iamges on your mod are broken.
I would appreciate you contacting me on discord (@rennorb) or in the official VS server #website-moddb channel to maybe figuer out how that happened.
Also it looks like the files are literally no longer on the CDN, so it unfortunately looks like you will have to reuplaod the images to replace them.
vendigear Yes, the main purpose is to consolidate all your wax into ingots for ease of storage. You cannot make armors, weapons or tools using the beeswax ingots.
Does this mod only serve as an alternative wax storage?
Because I was really hoping to finally become the Holy Bee Knight.

No, i don't think you'd be able to seal crocks and wax cheese on the ground using the beeswax added by this mod.
I'm sure this can be achieved by adding some lines in the json or through a compatibility patch but i don't use DanaTweaks myself so i won't bother.
If someone makes a compatibility patch for DanaTweaks, I'll link it in the description of this mod.
Is this compatible with DanaTweaks?
LiothTheBrave you can still buy them too lolol
Given the fact this WAS a thing done back when apiculture was just beginning, it's baffling how this isn't in the base game.
