Mutes sound effects which have the potential of triggering misophonia symptoms such as eating and drinking.
The mod works by simply replacing the sound assets with silent sound files.
This mod currently mutes:

- Player eating/chewing sounds "eating/eating_crunchy.ogg"
- Player drinking sounds "drinking1/drinking2.ogg"
- Shiver choking sound "shock.ogg"
Let me know of other sound effects that you think should be muted as well.

Viscera There's a mod that cover's that. I know it mutes all other armours but if you go in the files you can remove the sound effects you don't mind.
You're probaby up to your knees in requests but a mute for the sound of leather armour would be a blessing!

Thank you so much for adding it to the mod, that was indeed the sound I mentioned. I normally don't even have monsters enabled on my singleplayer, but for when I play with friends it will help so so much. My anxiety appreciates your efforts tenfold!

I agree that this sound is a potential trigger for misophonia and i shall add it to the list of sound effects that this mod mutes.
Hi um could you possibility remove the sound that goes along with the one shiver animation? The gurgling/choking one where they curl up on the ground? That particular one is.. not great for me while playing, I'm already not a fan of the horror genre but I do love the game.
It'd be awesome if you replaced wolf noises with something more tolerable. The barking and aggressiveness makes me tweak out a little
Windows98 unfortunately it mutes all armors- not just the cloth ones.
While i do agree that some of these sound effects can be annoying. I won't add them to the list of sound effects that this mod mutes since it's not related to misophonia.
I can make a whole other mod dedicated to annoying sound effects such as insects.

I could make a mod focused on that. I find them annoying as shit too. Let me know if there are other sound effects you want me to remove and if you can, provide the file path to make my life easier.

If possible, could u get rid of the cicada and other insect sounds? Not bees ofc since it would make it impossible to find them xD All the insect sounds while being in forests drive me absolutely crazy >.>
Can you make one version just to get rid of the cloth gambeson armor sound? I legit cant use the armor b/c of it

Oh this is absolutely wonderful, I always love seeing accessibility options being added through mods or in the base game. A friend of mine has this issue as well so it's been really great to see it being included here and there. I hope this can help raise awareness for it and maybe get it added in the base game options too for anyone who needs it.
