To clarify, I'm not the original author but a humble enjoyer of its content that had modify it for me to enjoy it more. All credits go to the genius Mr1k3 for this beautiful mod, and also this version in particular was made from filip, he made an unofficial version for the newer updates and worked but the stats, model sizes and recipes were not altered but only ported.
This edition however changes a few things that you may or not like.
As I do not really play PvP this is more focused on PVE combat and in that regard every weapon and recipe is adjusted from vanilla weapons (Falx swords and spears basically) to avoid just discarding those but expanding your arsenal options (for both roleplaying and playstyle), however the PvP aspect was not discarded but reworked, so you'll have different approaches to fight players with different armors all in different budged range (materials at hand).
Most of the reworks, nerfs and buffs were made because the incompatibilty with customised speed from older versions, as all weapons have an unaltered base speed that leaves some of them really OP, so their stats were adjusted accordingly.
If it is possible I may try to add a way to make them have different speeds, for now this is what I can offer.
Content added and removed:
-Added Iron, Meteoric iron and Steel version of : Khopesh, Spatha and Epsilon axe.
-Added Smithing recipe for Khopesh.
-Removed Copper version of tachi.
Reworked items:
Stone age weapons:
-Obsidian version of Macuahuitl: Raised its damage drastically, but at the same time reduced its durability by a huge amount.
-Bone club: Reduced drastically its durability, damage and range, now it counts as a club.
-Calacula: Range reduced; damage and durability are tied to the wood used to make it.
-Bone trident: Range, damage and durability reduced, now it works like a budget spear if you struggle to get stones/flints/obsidian but have a good amount of bones.
-Lead club: Range, damage and durability reduced, now it counts as a club, as for reference is is similar to the scrap mace.
-Throwing spear: Heavily nerfed, ranged damage was reduced drastically, now gravity affects the proyectile so it cannot doesn't fly nonstop anymore; recipe output was reduced to be equivalent to an arrow to avoid mass producing it from just a handful of materials, stack size was reduced to a max of 35. Now it cannot be put in the tool rack as it is disposable.
Copper age weapons:
-Bush knife: Reduced tool speed by a roughly 50%, durability was adjusted from the vanilla knife but with 40%-60% more durability.
-War hammer: Reduced its damage and range, considerable raise on durability.
-Chakri: Reworked entirely, now it doesn't stack and instead it has durability, melee range reduced, it is the weakest but most durable ranged weapon; smithing recipe now only gives 1 item. Now it cannot be put in the tool rack, as it can't really fit there because its shape.
-Mambele: Reduced melee range and durability, has the biggest ranged damage.
-Katar: Increased its damage and durability, reduced its range by a considerable amount.
-Spiked dagger: Increased its damage slighlty in bronze versions, increased durability in general.
-Spontoon: Reduced damage and more importantly its durability, now it is equivalent to a regular spear but with better stats and a longer range.
-Epsilon axe: Damage increased slighlty compared to the Falx, but at the same time reduced its durability and range. (Now available in iron, meteoric iron and steel)
-Khopesh: Lower damage than the Falx, but now has a 30%-50% more durability in comparison. Smithable (Now available in iron, meteoric iron, and steel)
Bronze age weapons:
-Spatha: Slighlty more range than the Falx, has slighlty less damage and durability in comparison. (Now available in iron, meteoric iron, and steel)
-War pick: Reduced its range, damage and durability, works as a more damaging version of the war hammer.
-Tachi: Reworked entirely/Heavily nerfed?: Reduced its durability by a drastic amount, now has a huge amount of damage, a fragile but deadly blade. Removed copper version
-Naginata: Reworked entirely/Heavily nerfed?: Identical as the tachi, however this weapon has slighlty more damage, more range but even worse durability.
Iron age weapons:
-Bastard sword: Slight increase in damage and range.
-Rapier: Heavily nerfed: Damage reduced from more than half of the original, reduced a little its durability, effective range is still the same.
-War axe: Damage, durability and ranged adjusted, now it is equivalent to the Falx but with better range and durability (Its a huge double axe, making it fragile would be odd)
-Igorot axe: Damage increased by a huge amount, durability reduced and range increased slighltly. (Now this bears the 3rd most damaging weapon, behind Macuahuitl and Naginata)
Halberd: Not many changes, damage and durability tweaked slighlty.
Almost all weapons had their sizes in tool racks, first person, third person, etc. Readjusted to match a certain size and look good in any place (Some polearms in toolracks may clip as they are really long, but its either that or a tiny toothpick)
Complete list of all stats from every weapon, so you can compare their damage, durability, range and quality tier

Possible/Planed changes for the future:
- Full compatibility with Combat Overhaul/Armory (I have to understand its code for it to work properly, it'll take some time)
- Add more weapons. (this is just a possibility)
If the original author wants me to take down this mod, I'll gladly do it.
If you think something is quite OP, weak or if there is any error from which I had overlooked, let me know here or in the discord, I may try to fix it as soon as possible.

First release: General overhaul to every weapon; damage, durability, range and tier were all modified considering both PVE and PVP gameplay. New variants from bronze weapons now available in iron, meteoric iron and steel. Some heavy nerfs, buffs and reworks. Some recipes modified for balance purposes. Every change is registered in the main page, use the link at the bottom to see the stat chart for every item. | |||||||

Yeah, the Mambele as a whole looks kinda goofy, but it is still a pretty good weapon in this mod!
Chuckles
I'll check that mod and see what I can do, as I do not use I'm not familiar with it.
Thank you for your work.
Possible compatability with Toolsmith?
the weapon in the top right tool rack kinda looks like that bandos weapon you get from that one quest in runescape.
PaperMachette
I'll see to tone down the volume of the drawn weapons, tbh I didn't though it would be too loud.
Is there any way to turn down the volume of the sound effect the weapons make when you draw them, I feel like they are way too loud compared to every other sound effect. EDIT: I just removed the sound folder from the mod as a temporary fix.
Tyga nope, atleast not for now, I have yet to learn how to use its system and apply it to this.
Does this work with Combat Overhaul?
Moonzert Srry for the late reply, I may update it but for now I'm not playing the game as such, does it have any technical issues whatsoever? Recipe incompatibilities or such?
any plans to update this to 1.21?
WickedSchnitzel. Try sending me the main server file through discord if possible, and also do you use any other mods besides it?
There are quite a few warnings of items that cannot resolve in server-main.log. Can you fix that?
this is Fire Real
ComfortEagle Are you sure it is not because another mod is causing the problem itself? Now I've tried smithing a bush knife with lvl 25 metalworking and the stat modifier (Epic 6.07) applies correctly (Durability and damage increased), I only have the latest version of both XSkills and Xlib, Combat Overhaul (testing porpuses), Dyed armor and another armor related mod I am working on, tell me exactly which items are not working properly with the smithing perk, although as far as I know is kinda lame, it just increases slighlty the damage and durability (even with a good lvl and lvl 2 smith perk)
JhonathanDj I just confirmed that the bonus stats are not applying by comparing my crafted one to the handbook values
ComfortEagle Oh that perk, have you checked if it doesn't apply correctly its modifiers? If not I'll check it and try to fix it.
JhonathanDj I'm referring to a blacksmith perk that gives your items a quality number between 1 and 20, increasing the stats of the weapon or armor the higher the quality
@ComfortEagle quality mechanic? Do you mean like skills related to damage and such from spears and swords? If it is that it should work fine, as far as I know it works with item classes from in game, those are used in these weapons.
Would you be able to look into adding support for XSkills quality mechanic, if it isn't too much trouble?
@MrBizarro mhhh, I might try to do that or make an alternative version besides this one that can be compatible with it, not really familiar with its code though, I might contact with Maltiez and see what can I do.
Could you make the mod compatible with combat armory please? Thanks.
