Not sure what the point of this is when chiseled blocks do exactly the same thing.

2 chimneys side by side works fine for me, as long as you have also 2 fireplaces.

The only real annoyance is the 8 block limitation, which makes is hard to use them in multi story buildings, and the general design of them which limits their use to only specific building types.

Thanks for the info Pentasis! Somehow this also relates to the problem of not being able to create room if the chimney is too high; a shorter chimney allows it.

T_BENZIN The 8 blocks is a limitation of the vanilla game. Chimneys only produce smoke when above a maximum of 8 blocks of a fire.

These blocks are failing to form a room. Can something be done with it?

EDIT: Also they are not smoking with chimney 8 blocks tall or higher.

Oh, super nice! I've been chiseling out the middle of blocks to make chimneys, but it doesn't work when you have two chimneys side-by-side for some reason. I bet this will.

will these blocks count as a fully enclosed room? im having a problem where my chimneys mean my house is freezing because it isnt properly enclosed
