The mod adds iron, meteoriс iron and steel spears.
Also adds several pikes of all types of bronze, as well of already coated materials too..
Adds other types of weapons : Seax , Bartka , Claymore , Khopesh , Odachi and others (see image, even have couple bows!).
Also added some new types of alkohol : different types of Liqueurs , fine Liqueurs , Yaegermeister and Sweetened Yaegermeister!
Now even added new armor!
Have Compatibility with those mods :

(crafting of bows from deer albino antlers and sinew)
-Decaying Creatures
(adds new (post-steel) grade of weapons and armor that can be crafted!)

Hey there. I hope this does not anger you, but i modified the claymore model in your mod so that the handle is long enough to be two-handed, so it makes sense with CO anims. If you want might i send you the model? I might also modify other models, again if you have no problems with that. Either or, thanks for the mod!

MetallicGal , nope, it will work without any problems by itself, but if you want post steel grade material (temporalit), you should install my other mod Decaying Creatures, but it is not required for my mod to work, it`ll work regardless)

does this mod need other mods to work? i loaded up my server after in stalling and it did not ask me to download it like all the other mods
Love the mod. How possible would it be to make the swords (particularly the rapier) compatible with the Sheaths and Quivers mod?
Do you think it would be possible to make a fork or add a config option to make the bows require the bowyer trait? I love your mod but it makes the hunters perks in servers not as useful as your bows are better than the vanilla ones.

I have actually done a bit of a personal take on CO balance for some of the armours and bows in your mod, if you want to take a look, I published it here on the ModDB!
From personal use, I can say that most of the weapons that have CO support have a bit too short a range (except for the claymore, that one is huge!), especially the war scyte, you really have to be inside the enemy to hit with it-
But yes, those bows are just... amazing. And I love the way you craft them: it really requires effort as a hunter to find the right materials. Shame they look like longbow in other player's hands
Fixed that, i see that Maltiez removed previous system that axe used, that caused the problem Mordakaiser
I have some troubles with how CO animations work, so i am tied it ti already made system, mrobably will ask maltiez to help me out with that, because i dont even remember now most that i used to do earlier while trying to make it work.. Sahlokhviir

Hey there, 1.21.0 server here. I noticed that the Iron Chest Plate from the mod can't be fixed using the tools from All Classes mod. Any chance of enabling that please?
The Bartka weapon combat overhaul compatibility seems to be broken and send a couple of error at the start of the game.

Hi! Is there a config for this mod anywhere? I can't seem to find it if there is. I was wondering because some of the values of the new armours in particular are very high for our liking especially when using CO hehe. If we could tweak them or disable them that would be perfect! Thank you!

Sahlokhviir If your aim drift problem is refering to the crosshair moving change the 'bows aiming cursor type' in the combat overhaul settings to vanilla.
i cant add a image but for some reason the bow (in the mod) model in hand does not change [it does when placed however), might have to do with combat overhall auto bow skin replace ment just a heads up to fix or test, it also seems not not be being effected by the bow aiming cursor limits on the server or client side settings and the aim drift stays no matter what

Version 0.3.6. Inside the archive there is a directory called еуіе, which contains a subdirectory with mod version 0.3.4 and an archive with mod version 0.3.3. The total size of the mod has increased from 0,9 to 3,7 megabytes. Is this how it should be?

Love this mod just for the bows alone! one minor issue i noticed: the bows do not get the effect from combat overhaul with the +50% draw speed. Is there a way to fix this?

The temporalite tools an ingot ae by this mo use to work with the mod https://news.kalataka.ru/smithingplus which let you get a broken tool back so you could repair it with bits. but now it seem to not work all of a sudden. Ive already contacted the mod auther but no response as of yet.

What LeuxSeveN said happens to me as well, but apart from Yager's Bow I didn't try any other bows from the mod.

Problem:
basicly every time within 5min (sometimes within 20s) I equip the yager's Bow the game suddenly freezes and Crashes without any determinable sudden reason, and no log report.
I observed live how my memory usage rappidly increased by like 10Gb, than the game freezes and crashes.
I don't know if the same issue happens with the other bows but I will go check.

Питаннячко - а то спеціально що Єгермейстери псуються? Наче в реальному житті єгер не має строку придатності але то таке, просто прийшла бо хотіла попитать чи можно якось його зробить конфігурованим.

Would it be possible to make the seax function as a knife for crafting? Historically that was their primary use, as general purpose knives. It'd be really cool to have an alternate utility tool!
My cows are somehow very unwilling to eat food, neither grass nor hay nor onions work, its put in large troughs and they are fenced in, a bull is nearby in a fenced off area with 1 block distance. No idea what is happening. They did eat 2 portions and then they just stopped.
Most of them should be affected by those mods, because i`ve used vanilla tool classes MrJaxDandelion
are any of the weapons here affected by Xskills combat skills?

Hi! Yea, cooldown was unintentional (Might have happened during adapting to CO), block breaking on another hand is intentional, sure, it has pros and cons, but can be useful at times.. Thx for info! Frolix
I've noticed that the halberd does not have a "Cooldown" like other weapons, and that you can continously spam attack with it, and also break blocks with it like it is a tool. I don't think this is intentional, so I thought I would bring it up, since it is a little bit OP for certain enemies, but also makes it harder to use sometimes.
(No Combat Overhaul)
When combat overhaul is installed the odachi shows attack indicators but cannot be swung (1.20.11 and latest versions of CO & overhaullib, no armory)

Loving this mod, but I've found a couple of issues with some of the weapons.(Combat Overhaul)
The pikes, spears and pitchforks (Length-adjustables) all are held too far up in either stance, and in the short-range stance you're holding either the very tip or in front of the blade, making it look weird. Even in long-stance, it's held much too far forward.
The War Scythe hitbox is far too short, so you have to have the wood handle contact the enemy for it to take damage, making the effective range extremely short.

Yes and no, because of the CO halberd class, it written as everything in CO, but all the brains for it contained in CO Armory, so it will work only with that installed.. maybe will change it later so it will be not dependable on armoory that much Torch164

First and foremost, thanks for the great mod!
Me and my friend just got into iron age and we found a small issue - we cannot repair the'kasten brust' armor chestpiece.
The fixed armor flashes for a moment. Clicking the output window doesn't do anything.
I noticed that if you forge a pika tip and carry it in tongs, it displays very oddly.
Is it intentional that with C.O. installed but without C.O. Armory installed the Claymore, Odachi, War Scythe, and Halberd are all non-functional? Mod works well with combat overhaul, but the bows dont show up correctly and the way they hold the bow is wrong. The bows in this mod all have correct bow string but the actual part of the bow (wood part) shows up as either recurve bow or longbow. When i turn off combat overhaul it goes back to normal and texture displays correctly. :) Kanahaku

If Combat Overhaul is involved - it might occur, idk what is an issue because it probably lies in combat overhaul, but somehow some of the veaponry is buggy, author of CA have one of solutions posted on page of the mod, it might help you! Spektre

With combat overhaul only if you wear karsten armor and a gambeson and any of those items helmets they ALWAYS change their texture to the kasten armor and deform in a weird way.
Ive downloaded this mod for my pack and for some reason certain weapons dont work. Such as the Khopesh, War scythe, Halberd, and maybe some other weapons. Is this a known issue or is this a new problem?

It was a fresh install of the game about a week or so ago, and it's happening to me in both singleplayer and multiplayer. I tried clearing the cache, but maybe I didn't do it right? I'm still not very familiar with modding so perhaps you could walk me through the steps again. But yes, even after trying to clear cache and reinstalling the mod, I'm still having problems with the spear not really having range. Also, is there a quick fix I can do to fix the bow models? Since they're still appearing as longbow/recurve bow models despite having custom models in your mod. Kanahaku
Hmm, that`s strange.. i`m using last version of my mod with last version of the game + combzt overhaul and everything is allright.. have you tried cleanin the cache? or maybe you can try reinstall my mod if you had older versions of it? Hi, looks like some of the weapons don't work properly with Combat Overhauled; I'm trying to use the spears/pikes, but for some reason the grip adjustment is very short (With the pike, I'm practically holding the point itself!), and it doesn't get the actual 3.7-4 meter range spears and pikes are supposed to have. Not sure if this is a mod conflict or what, there doesn't seem to be any errors popping up. The weapons of course still do damage like they should, though, but there's no point using spears and pikes if their range is worse than swords
If you run this mod without decayed creatures it throws errors on world start up yelling about how you don't have the decayed creatures drops to make the super teir items.

Problems like that can happen even in Armory mod, try to clean cache like Maltiez (author of combat overhaul) reccomends, that might fix a lot of issues related to attacking, registering, etc. kyrodaboi, ad4k6rtw
That`s a temporary way to implement bows compatible with combat overhaul, got a problem with shape and animations, and now have problems with freee time.. so i will try to fix it later on! Senomy

Halberd is not working at all in two handed mode, weapon will not slash

Hello ! I've noticed something, when I was using the bows, the model in the players hands doesn't fit with the item's model in the inventory (i.e. Yager's Bow appearing as Longbow). I also use combat overhaul if that info helps. Thank you !
All pikes have same damage on one-hand and two-hand stance, and they, like the halberd, also have their damage tier same as damage.
Halberd one-handed damage tier is the same as its damage, instead of the intended tier, same for all metal types. Thanks again for the consistent updates! Hope to see Decaying Creatures updated soon as well.
If you using it with Combat Overhaul - must be compatible, even without it too, but i will check it soon to be sure if it works (at least i`m using vanilla weapon classes, so it must work just fine) JunidO

I'm not sure if its this mod breaking or one of my other mods breaking it, but for some reason many of the weapons (Claymore, Halberd, Warscythe and Odachi) don't seem to work properly, none of them do anything when trying to attack with them, no animation, not hitmarker feedback or damage.

New kind of metal to add post-steel progression in materials, that content become available when my another mod "Decaying Creatures" is installed, if you not planning on playing with it, you can access temporalit gear via creative anyway

While having Combat Overhaul installed, the Odachi's range is shorter than the Great Sword from C.O mod even though they have the exact same item length, also the Bartka seems to be misplaced in the hands.
Great mod though, keep at it, i'm looking forward to seeing more new armor, i'm very fond of the Silver kasten brust's looks (even though the defence is on the lower side) and i'd like to see more like it, maybe even fancy looking helmets to go along with them?

Scale leg armor (Temporalit) is equipped as a body armor instead of a leg armor.
Lamellar Knee pads of all kinds list -1% walk speed on their Combat Ovehaul stats, but have -3% move speed as if they used vanilla stats.
With Combat Overhaul, the spear grip placement is too far up, so when you change grip length the spear moves back behind your head, out of view. I think the hitboxes are fine but the visual is misaligned. Thanks again for your wonderful work!

You listed the mod as "various 1.20.x" but it seems you hard coded the dependancy on 1.20.3
1.20.1 client and server didnt load anything from v0.0.27, v0.0.28 or v0.0.29
And for the working 1.20.1 version we got the Handbook doesnt tell of a way to make Temporalite

Ah, it seems that with combat overhaul the steel and temporalit lamellar leg armor can only be worn as a head armor.
With combat overhaul hitboxes changes to colliders, which are actual lenght of weapon, that`s the reason for that, it you can try to watch player attack something - you`ll notice that (short answer - yes, that`s a feature of combat overhaul)

When i created lamellar armor, it was originally made for highly mobile gameplay and bonuses for shooting, so that`s intended, but might require some balance, so i`ll be happy to hear experience and suggestions if something feels not right!

The iron/above tier of lamellar helmets are giving positive steady aim. I think this is a bug as the lower tier lamellar helmets (and most other combat overhaul statted helmets) give negative steady aim.

I see that when used with Combat Overhaul, Yager and Master Yager bows have a damage tier of 1. Their damag multipliers are high, but having a lower damage tier than the simple bow seems odd. Is this intended?

Sorry to bother again, but I was doing some testing and I noticed that your mod changes all of the vanilla armor pieces to their vanilla values and therefore makes it so you can't equip them as they are no longer a part of the Armoury mod. Kanahaku Yeah I am using v0.2.5 of your mod and v0.1.5 of Combat Overhaul. The weapons that will not attack for me are the claymore, odachi, war scythe, and halberd; all other weapons work.
EDIT: Wait, I didn't realize that I had to have "Combat Overhaul: Armory" installed as well! Now everything is working fine.

This is not completely compatible with combat overhaul; the halberd, for example, can not be used to attack an opponent if combat overhaul is installed. However, this mod works perfectly well on its own without combat overhaul installed.

it says it supports it, the durability does increase with a higher rarity but the piercing damage doesn't. mainly curious if something about how this mod has the damage is done on these items makes it not work!
All the legging/leg armor except the lammelar knee pads are still in the vanilla style with Combat Overhaul and cannot be equipped.

Kanahaku Hi! Been enjoying this mod on a test 1.20 server with some friends and wanted to bring up a small issue we discovered while testing the temporalit tools. In the case of a Scythe, it doesn't seem to use the same cutting action as a vanilla scythe where it won't cut modded grasses, specifically from the Wildgrass mod. I'm referring ot the "Temporalit Bits" you get when using a chisel on the completed ingot. I use the Metal Recycling mod, which gives back some Bits when you smith with an item. https://prnt.sc/HIBbhu2W3ymI
They say they can be smelted back into a ful ingot at 20 pieces, but they cannot go in a BLoomery... and a crucible can't get hot enough.
Main problem is, that everything is working while i`m testing it.. so it might will take a while cause i trying to troubleshoot problem whitch i can`t see Bellcross, QuiverShiver

Have you done the whole process of creating them? cause they should be sealed in barrel with temporal powder, than mixed with needed materials (included steel bits) , and than they will be processed into new alloy by using bloomery Zeorik

Heya, new question about temporalit. I've got temporalit Bits, but they don't seem capable of going in a bloomery to make a new ingot. Is there a different way to recombine the bits into an ingot?
I've finally did some testing. There is no conflictions with the other mods. It removed the flint and copper shovels by itself.
I`ve not changet animations of shooting (if you talking about that), only changed mechanic of shooting arrows.. is there problems with it? if yes, idk what can cause these, because i`ve double checked everything.. at least maybie we will find what is wrong, if that`s the case N17HT

Hello! I've notice that when I have this mod enabled, I lose the ability to craft both the flint and copper shovels respectively. Both the flint and copper shovel heads have been completely removed from the game upon turning on the mod. I'm using the most recent version of this mod (0.1.7 to be exact). Is this intentional? Seems like because the server was still 1.19.7 the mod just wasn't loading. we finally updated to 1.19.8 and the mod is working properly, just a derp on my end for not updating!
