Whilst I was playing Vintage Story with some of my friends, I noticed that sharing waypoints can be somewhat of a cumbersome task in multiplayer. Opting to fix this minor annoyance, I therefore created this mod that adds a new "Share" toggle to the existing waypoint GUI which will add your created waypoint to all other player clients if toggled.
Obviously this feature can be misused as it stands, but I might add new functionality to restrict sharing waypoints in the future updates.
For this mod to work, it has to be installed on both the server and client.

Mod no longer works. When right clicking to create a waypoint, the game may sometimes crash (still unsure of the crash conditions) and removing the mod from the save does not solve the issue. Please don't use, especially since this mod was last updated in 2021 and seems very deprecated!!!
1.18 update?
I would love to use this on my server as I have started playing again with friends, hope this gets updated someday!
I would love to use this for naming locations in my server for all to see! Perhaps a permission to allow the sharing similar to command permissions. Hope to see it updated :)
This mod is exactly what I was looking for, are you thinking about updating it to 1.7?

Would there be a way to also add in a Reshare button or such to send the share out again for those that weren't logged in when the marker was made?
This instantly crashes the game when I try to create a waypoint on 1.16. Any chance for an update please?
It's probably because the singleplayer check returns true for you which disables the share functionality. I'll look into uploading an update soon to fix this.
not sure why, but im playing on lan, and only the other person playing is able to share waypoints, i can see theirs, but im unable to share my own. any tips?
