A small json modification that adds more options for using rope,
at the moment the modification affects all stone tools and saws and also changes and adds new recipes for crafting ropes!

The mod can be used both on the server side and on the client!
The mod complicates the early stages of the game by adding the need for a rope to primitive stone tools to connect the head and handle.

Please do, that would make this mod really immersive and beautiful. If you could, you might want to add Configs for people to play around with whats included and whats not, but idk if its hard or if you know how to do it (i dont know myself 😅)
But yeah, whatever has a ROPE on the model/texture, it should require rope to craft it.
And stuff that DONT have rope on the model/texture shouldn't require Rope to craft it
Sianks Hello, I've already thought about this and it seems like there are even options on how to harmoniously replace it, I think I'll release an update with a fix in the very near future
cant we have ropes required as binding on ALL tools that have Rope texture in them like Pickaxe, axe etc? I tried to find Config to add ropes to missing tools but couldnt find it anywhere...
Can you add it to missing tools? Also will it be possible to remove rope requirement from tools that do not have rope as texture, aka "Saw"?
Pervy_Sage The idea here is to get the first rope from the vines that grow on the trees and then, when you create a knife, you can fully prepare the grass for the ropes.
Nice mod but you have the stone knife require rope. How are we suppose to cut items to make rope without a knife? If you can make the stone knife blade cut grass that would be ideal.
I know we can break some, rope making items, by hand but you lose the roots. I guess that's doable.
Ideally I'd like the ability to pull up long grass by hand and have those roots be ruined. Just six would be good for the first knife and those are easily replaceable if you break dirt and put it back down. IRL you can easily pull up long grass by hand and make rope by twisting the overlapping grass. It's not hard at all and YouTube has tutorials on it.
