The mod allows one to place metal plates on vertical racks. Unfortunately, they do not have the right proportions to look properly slotted in, but they look good enough. It could be possible to make a more advanced version of this mod by either modifying the plate model, or making a separate plate rack, but I am busy and suck at modelling so this is as far as I'm willing to go for now.

What a wonderful idea; this should be vanilla
After all, in early versions they wern't just for tool molds; you could put the percurser to "Tuning cylinders" on them. I still have a save somewhere where there are tuning cylinders still stuck in a mold rack :P

Fantastic idea. Great way to flex all the extra plates you have in stock. I'll be lining the workshop walls with these.
