No longer do you have to climb down from your scaffolding to pick up mined building blocks.

  • Should work on multiplayer: Pick up cooldown reduction is player specific (you break block > you pick it up, friend breaks block > they pick it up)
  • You can still throw stuff on the ground: The pick up cooldown is only low for blocks you break.

Doesn't seem to apply to cattail-likes or their roots, you miss them alot during pickup this'd help for those too! For items a real time saver!

Thank you!!! The cooldown on pick-up speed drives me NUTS and is very nearly a deal-breaker for my love of this glorious game! PLEASE keep this one going!

Pixative I wonder if it is because reeds are 2 high and the onBlockBroken is called on the other part than where the items are spawned? 🤔

Defintiely an improvement, tiny little delays in games drive me nuts. Doesn't seem to work on reeds though for some reason, those still have a delay before picking them up.

Fefa The Net7 version makes a new appdata folder. Press the windows key and R, type %appdata%, then hit Enter. You should have a "VintagestoryData" and a "VintagestoryDataNet7" (not sure on the name of the last one). To run the Net7 version in the normal folder edit the shortcut's target field to be like this: C:\Games\Vintagestory\Vintagestory.exe --dataPath C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Roaming\VintagestoryData , where you substitute "Games" for your installation directory and the second address with where your appdata is saved (on installation, some put their appdata folder in the installation folder). Hope my words make sense and help you, cheers.

good to know, i will take a look :). But to be fair, this new begining feels better since most of mods i had, are now working the way they should work.

Saves will be located in a different folder, they shouldnt be lost! Fefa

ok it is working just fine now, i guess that was the problem, i was on a diferent NET version. TY again a lot for this amazing mod :)

Not sure wich version i was in, but i donwloaded the version of that link, i guess it deleted all of my mods and save files lol. Didnt made a backup :(. also when i open the game it says a new version is available but wen i try to download it it gets an error.

I will download ur mod and try it and let you know if it works for me. Dont worry about the missing save, i know early ascess games tend to do this kind of things.

Im sorry to say this, but i see no diference in the pick up time while mining, breaking stones, digging or breaking buildint materials like planks or cobblestone, not sure if is not working or if its a mod conflict.
