Tired of trekking back to refill your troughs after barely surviving a week-long exploration that ended in a tragic, bear-related incident? Long-Term Husbandry! This mod doesn’t add new food types—it just makes your husbandry experience less of a day-job.

By increasing the maximum fill levels of (vanilla) grains, vegetables, legumes, and fruit mash in troughs, your livestock can stay fed while you wander the dangerous wilds, raid ruins, and (probably) die spectacularly somewhere between the savanna and the swamp.

Why this mod exists:
Because I got tired of having multiple troughs just to last a couple days during my expeditions. - Now I get to camp thousands of blocks away for a week and still have food in my troughs!

Q: Does this mod add new food?
A: Nope. Your livestock eats exactly what they did before.

Q: Will this help if I go on a “week-long” trip?
A: You'll respawn back with food in your troughs, still.

Q: Is this unbalanced?
A: I don't (personally) think that this has touched balance atall, you're still having to put in the same amount of food - this just lets you do it less often.

Q: Can I adjust the fill levels?
A: Absolutely. Open the JSON patch and tweak it to your heart’s content—or your animals’ stomachs.

Q: Is this compatible with X?
A: It should be compatible with whatever animal mod you through at it, this just changes the vanilla food capacity. - if your animals require meat or some other food type; you'll have a problem.

Q: Safe to Add/Remove to an existing world?
A: It's safe to add and remove - at worst if you remove it, you'll lose some trough food.
