Recommended download (for Vintage Story 1.16.5, 1.17.0 - 1.17.8 and 1.21.5):
bunnybellclient_v1.0.0.zip
1-click install
Simple client-side mod to make a "bing" sound when your name is mentioned in the chat. This does not need to be installed on the server you are playing on, installing this mod allows you to hear the bell sound on any server.
Planned `updates:
- Multiple sounds to select from
- Option for Sounds when a player logs in
- Option for Sounds when a player logs out

Raemon Will do. Making auto-fill usernames is a little over my head, but I should be able to make a nickname list that you can add your nicknames to.
If possible, another thing to add when the config issue gets fixed is if we can set up keywords to play a sound for as well. Some people have long usernames and it'd be nice if they could set up a nickname that also alerts them.
@Toonish I'm planning to update this mod as early as December. Ill look into this then. Apologies for the inconvenience
there does not appear to be a config file in 1.21.5
Still works for 1.21
Also, if you want to change the volume of the bell you can edit line 33 to be:
float volume = 0.33f;
Still works for 1.20.6
For anyone that has a username that people tend to break up, in my case instead of ModernRouge people tend to type Rogue, you can edit the file to accomidate nicknames. Open the bunnybellclient.cs, go to line 37 and replace it with this line:
For anyone seeking to use this with 1.18.6 (.NET 7 update) this standalone client side version still works :) I recommend it. Great utility, helps a lot since I have very poor eyesight changing focus. Thank you for this!
