Requires Player Model Lib

 

Adds an anthro wolf to the Player Model Lib with multiple color options.

 

Compatibility


 

Should be compatible with other armor mods as the legs are only slightly altered. Let me know if that is not the case if so.

Added traits that you can turn off with config lib if you don't want it. Please feel free to leave a comment on suggestions for the traits ^^

 

And if you are updating and want the traits, you will need to use .charsel to apply the traits :P

Traits suggestion since you're asking for it.

 

  • Shedding Fur: Wolf coats are thick but can adapt in the heat by shedding their fur (increased cold resistance by 12; decreased heat resistance by 5; increased hunger on high heat by 20%) (Vigor mod, higher stamina consumption and stamina regeneration during high heat)
    • [optional] Advanced version: If the player has cycled a whole day through a warmer or colder climate. Their resistance change by 1 do adapt the current temperature(max of 5).
  • Winter Fur: (increased movement during cold temperatures by 16%; decreased movement during hot temperatures by 12%)
  • Sub-Carnivorous: Berries/Fruits is also a large part of the wolf diet, it's not only meat. (+8% protein; -8% vegetables)
  • Nightcrawler: Vision is their main method of seeing depth in the dark, but not colors. (Gain darkvision, but become colorblind when it's dark. Starts at lightlevel 10 to 3)
  • Tracking Smell: Their strong sense of smell is the closest way to "wallhack". (When smelling, a text appears on which entity they smell in the vicinity and it can describe the entity's entity's distance[near, far], general direction[front, left, right, back], and the health[clean, weak, bloodied]. Smelling will take effect after 10 seconds.)
    • "/smell" - smell once.
    • "/smell 5" - smell 5 times in a 10 second interval.
    • "/smell inf" - smell infinitely in an 10 second interval.
    • "/smell 8 [player_name]" - smell 8 times in an 10 second interval, only for the [player_name]. (stackable)
    • "/smell stop" - stop smelling.

Well, I do want to add other species as I go. So might consider doing a deer next ^^

In terms of when, that will depend of course on when I can fit it in.

nice! and yeah not sure...maybe something related to hunting and harvesting animals?not really miners. or builders wolves are usually known for there hunting skills..pack hunting but counts.
