my server loves this mod but after playing for a couple of hours the blue light starts to hurt our eyes. great mod tho!

I mean tbf configuring mods is comically easy even without an ingame config, just edit the json file's contents. 
For instance if you wanted to edit the temporal gear's light level from this mod, all you would need to do is extract the zip file, open assets and continue until you reach the json file, and then edit the line that says ' "value": 21, ' to whatever number you want.
Compared to minecraft modding its actually so streamlined and incredibly convienent. Honestly major props to Tyron for implementing the ability to mod VS in such a well designed way. 

But TL;DR if you dont want to wait for the author to add ingame config support to Amulight but still want to play the mod right now with whatever settings desired (minus color bc the mod doesnt alter that lmao) you easily can!

A light level of 3, considering how easy the gears are to get from just panning or from surface drifters, would be perfectly fine. Can you at least make this configurable using configlib?

If it was configurable, I'd grab this in an instant! As it is right now though the brightness level is a bit OP, imo.

with the fact that its just a temporal gear and rope maybe it should be nerfed a little bit since 21 is the same as a lined lantern
