Please add making rope from thatch, and perhaps the option to convert thatch to grass (with a knife).

It would be cool if we could also craft thatch from grass and cattail in this mod, or a different kind of thatch roof block with those materials. I think making thatch roof blocks with only the tule plant is quite restrictive.

When i'll have some free time to spend on coding i'll get rid of stack sizes of peat and dry grass (?) and split the mod int thatch focused stuff only and the ones around peat and else DoktorVanBarron

I love this, always wondered why ingame you were forced to use just cattails for basketry when both have been used historically.
that said, not a fan of the changed stack sizes, would prefer that to be in another mod entirely.
