Hominins Races expands Vintage Story with a selection of prehistoric human character races, representing species that once shared the Earth with each other and with us.

Included races:

Homo sapiens (Africa; modern humans)
• Highly adaptable and innovative; balanced without unique advantages or disadvantages.

Neanderthal (Europe & Asia; Ice Age)
• Stocky and powerful; resilient and strong, but with higher food requirements.

Denisovan (Asia)
• Mysterious branch known mostly through DNA; sturdy and resourceful, with genetic contributions to modern populations in Oceania and Asia.

Homo floresiensis (Flores Island)
• Small “hobbit” people (~1 m tall); quick and agile but physically weaker, surviving in isolation.

Homo luzonensis (Luzon, Philippines)
• Small-bodied and adapted to island life; surprising mix of primitive and modern traits.

Homo erectus (Java, late) (Java; up to ~50,000 years ago)
• One of the longest-living human species; robust and enduring, using simpler technology.

Red Deer Cave people (East Asia; as recent as ~14,000 years ago)
• Unusual population with both archaic and modern features; possibly among the last archaic human groups.

You can still use it on all gamemode, not limited to homo sapiens mode. It is not about any balance, realism it is for fun roleplay only!

 

Roadmap:

  • selectable at races not in classes! (100%)
  • add health, hunger, speed and cold res. attributes (80%)
  • add gear (0%)
  • add height (100%) - still needs testing, slider to min max size set.
  • add custom apperance (10%) (needs skins/models for each race)
  • add custom realistic classes with gear (10%) (base classes finished but without gear)

I'm not good at content modding (this is my first content mod), I prefer programming code. Modeling is quite difficult. VS model creator is not working on my pc.
But i still want to make custom modells.
