Playing on v1.21.5, the game crashes when attempting to open the handbook recipe for the Firelog. So now there's no way to know how to craft it in-game.

Can confirm, when this mod is installed, attempting to look up the candle recipe while Cullinary Artillery is installed causes a crash, and names CA as the culprit

So, I've found a weird bug, when I try to look at the candle recipe in the handbook my game crashes, The crash log mensions culinary artilllery, but the comments mentioned that the mod "dried peat" was responsible, I don't have that mod installed, but the only mod that modifies peat I have is this one, and the crash disapeared after I removed this mod, does it change the candle recipe in any way? so I can remove that change from the code and keep using it?

Slighty confusing as modded peat bricks share the same name as vanilla item and not sure if this is possible, but currently if you harvest the damp peat you can turn it into the vanilla variant via the crafting grid and this can be used on the kiln. This peat is not curable and will always be damp. However if the modded damp peat cures and becomes dry it is not possible to use this on the kiln or convert into a variant that can be used on the kiln.

Is it possible to make the vanilla peat brick created in crafting grid curable and also add a crafting grid recipe for the dried peat added by the mod. So essentially you have a dried version of the vanilla peat brick and maybe a burning time of 30 minutes as opposed to 32 for the damp peat in the kiln or better yet nerf the default peat to 35 minutes and give the dry peat the default 32 minute time. Tooltips could read a flattened peat brick ideal for kiln usage or something on those lines.

 

 I found a ton of peat early game and had it stacked up ready to go into my kilns but was a bit thrown off when I couldn't actually use them as it had already dried by this time. I'm not sure if this can be done with just a patch but I'm still not familar enough with this particular game to do myself just yet.

seems to have a very slow memory leak or something. After I added the mod, my multiplayer server has had lag issues when it's around peat and the town we're at. It only happens after about 2-4 hours of playtime.

Not quite, it's a game bug, i did open an issue on it, but there has been no activity on the offending source file in question since 1.19.7.

The only other option if no fix in the game is made, is for me to either remove the perish transition on the leaves, or the recipe to cook leaves into ash.

I hadn't bothered removing them yet in case the devs fixed the issue

Is there any fix for the super fuels and expanded matter not working together?
I am not sure if that is the cause but I am having a similar issue in 19.8 with trying to burn oak leaves into plant ash. The recipie just sits at max time and fails to convert.

There any way to get dried peat to work in the Beehive Kiln from Still Useful Stuff. Also, the stone oven from Stone Bake Oven. Would be nice if both of these could run off of the dried peat.

This seems to happen because the willow leaves and wood spurge have a Perish transition state, and the plant/wood ash do not.

The game code sees the input item had a perish transition state, and tries to apply it to the output without checking, and since it doesn't have one, it fails.

I'd consider this a game bug, for the time being i'll be disabling the relevant recipes and try to file a bug report.

Having an issue on a dedicated server, running both Expanded Matter and the wildcraft modules. Vanilla items will cook properly into either plant or wood ash, but when trying to convert things such as Willow Leaves or Wood Spurge, the firepit spams out errors to the server. These may not be this mods fault but another interaction, such as Xskills as it is erroring out at a harmony patch.

Could you patch/repair the igniter mod? It's called "Flint & Steel". When I used it once, it was outstanding. With the Flint&Steel add-on as a late game, it accelerated the process of lighting hundreds of furnaces for burning iron or clay.

Oh, yes. I am extremely happy to see this, that missing propolis texture has been driving me up the wall for ages! Thanks for reviving this (to me) essential mod.

 

Edit: I backed up my save, removed the old SuperFuel, enabled this mod, and my existing world had zero issues. Nicely done!
